Another look at some of the players that everyone knows about, the ones who landed in the latest PGH Ohio class rankings heading into the season. Today, a look at the kids in Eastern District who landed a considerable spot in the rankings.

<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="32621" first="Faith" last="Stinson"], 6-1 2022, Thornville Sheridan<img class="size-medium wp-image-204395 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/09/Faith-Stinson-300x272.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="272" /></span></strong></span>
Faith has finally chosen her future home, and it the University of Akron. But before that, she looks to cap off a great career her senior season. She is a multidimensional threat both inside and outside, and she is a very smart player, able to beat you in many ways. Defensively she is long and athletic, able to defend in the paint or step out to defend a wing.
<span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="159360" first="Hannah" last="Archer"], 5-7 2022, Beverly Fort Frye</strong></span>
What a solid complete player Hannah is, with the skills to play multiple positions and her court sense is at a very high level. She has quality handles and shows the ability to score with either hand at the rim. Can bury you from the perimeter, plays great in transition with a great open court game. Great court vision and able to defend well on-ball. Has received looks from the D2 level, she is one of the underappreciated kids in Ohio.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="93546" first="Lexi" last="Howe"], 5-9 2023, Dresden Tri Valley</span></strong></span>
Lexi <em>(feature photo above) </em>has some D1 interest and offers as her game continues to grow. She as an all-Ohio kid last season, with good ball skills and handles. She also has good footwork and moves getting to the rim with good body control. Great anticipation for the ball, quick hands and able to create. Shifty guard with a good pull up jumper from the midrange. Can score from the perimeter.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><img class="size-medium wp-image-241441 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/12/Reagan-Vinskovich-Union-Local-170x300.jpg" alt="" width="170" height="300" />[player_tooltip player_id="157703" first="Reagan" last="Vinskovich"], 6-1 2023, Belmont Union</span></strong></span>
Very impressive player in the paint with good hands and a productive rebounder. Good hands, can catch and score with good footwork and able to assess the play and use her smart basketball IQ. Her game continues to grow and she will be a good catch for a coach at the next level. She lands at <em>#16 </em>in the latest 2023 rankings. <em>(pictured left)</em>
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="217318" first="Jamisyn" last="Stinson"], 5-9 2024, Thornville Sheridan</span></strong></span>
As one person told me, Jamisyn is a ’walking bucket’ with a great overall skillset to score from anywhere on the court. She has strong handles and a very good sense of where she needs to be on the court. She does a great job of making strong plays during transition and has unlimited range with a quick release. Looks for the ball in big games.
