Kim Davis Powell and John McGraw got together to host the 2021 Show-N-Prove Showcase in Daytona Beach. The two-day event featured some of the state’s top players across the 2022-2028 classes. We were in attendance for both days and will break down the performance of the events top players. Here we look at the top prospects in the 2026 and 2027 class that were at the event.
We wrote about Jazmine Jones and Ciara Hayes Ciara Hayes 5'5" | PG Faith Christian Academy | 2026 State FL HERE, identifying them as two of the top overall prospects at the event and the top two 2026s.
In addition to Jones and Hayes, the following players had impressive performances.
Sofia Rathbun Sofia Rathbun 5'6" | SG The King’s Academy | 2026 State FL – 2026
Rathbun was impressive. It was my first time seeing her and she caught my attention immediately. She is a young, skilled guard who played hard on both ends of the floor. She knocks down own shots, has good handle, and plays downhill attacking the basket finishing well in the paint.
Aubrey Satterfield Aubrey Satterfield 5'8" | SG West Orange | 2026 State FL – 2026
It was my first-time getting eyes on Satterfield as well. She is an athletic, aggressive point guard with who consistently attacked the basket and pushed the tempo. She has good handle, an explosive first step and finishes well around the rim.
Addison Godby – 2026
Godby stood out amongst the other younger players due to her height. She is a big, young, aggressive guard with a strong build. She played with the 2022s and was one of top players on court. She is a major D1 prospect if her game continues to develop.
Senaia Asanya – 2026
Asanya is a big, young post who was battling 2022s. She is bigger and stronger than most players of her age. Like most young post players, her offensive skill is a bit under developed but I loved her competitiveness, energy, and how hard she played on both ends. She has a chance to be really good if she continues to develop her offensive game and continues to grow and get stronger.
Jasleen Green – 2026
Green has a long, lanky body type. She is skilled around the basket, is a solid rebounder, consistently going to the boards on both the offensive and defensive boards! She has primarily played as a post player and is transitioning to the perimeter. She looked good in transition, running the floor well and finishing on the move. Her handle is solid and she needs to develop her perimeter shot as she progresses to playing the wing spot.
Chamiah Francis – 2026
Francis was one of the top young post prospects at the showcase. She stands at 6’2+ and is only in middle school. Similar to Senaia Asanya, her offensive game is a bit under developed she has plenty of time to work on her perimeter shot, back to the basket moves, and finishing with both left and right hands. She has good strength and height, solid build, and has a solid work ethic. She is a young prospect with a ton of potential and one to watch and follow.
Ameera Kone – 2027
Kone is a strong, young guard who I have seen several times over the years. She is a skilled perimeter player with a high basketball IQ. She needs to improve her overall athleticism and lateral food speed but has an excellent foundation for such a young player who is just starting 7th grade.
E’Miah Fields – 2027
Fields was also one of the top young players at the showcase. She is a talented guard that can go by her defenders at will. She had impressive athleticism, a quick first step, was extremely explosive and attacked the rim fearlessly.
