returned to the big stage after missing last year’s playoff run and made the most of her time on the floor. Despite foul trouble limiting her minutes, she was extremely effective when she was on the floor. Francis finished with 11 points and 7 rebounds while shooting 4-5 from the field, adding two blocks and providing strong interior defense. She scored efficiently in the paint and used her size and activity around the rim to create problems for the defense.

It was great seeing Francis back out on the court with her Booker T Washington teammates after a serious knee injury and a lot of rehab. Francis had the most developed offensive game of any post player at She Got Game. She did an outstanding job establishing position and calling for the ball. When Chamiah got the ball she went right to work using drop steps, spin moves, and up and under moves to score on the block. Francis looks like a college player now, physically, and their two opponents had a hard time dealing with her on the defensive end. Once Francis is back to 100% she will contribute immediately as a freshman at Florida State next year.

Chamiah has been the most dominant true post in Florida for years. Her size, strength, and skill around the rim are unmatched. She controls the paint on both ends and should have no problem averaging a double-double this season. The FSU commit is a must watch that’s making some serious noise in the Panhandle!

created a buzz and didn’t play in the tournament. She is arguably the face of the 2026 class in Florida, and her presence alone helped fuel the excitement in the building. She provided encouragement and enthusiasm from the sideline and many college coaches were in the building.

was a dominant force for the first 20 games of last season, averaging nearly 15 points and 10.4 rebounds. Francis generally had her way on the floor. She plays with physicality and grace at the same time. Francis handled business until she sustained an injury before the push for the State playoffs . Looking forward to seeing this talented star back on the court.

continues her dominance and showing why she is one of the top players in the State of Florida. In the matchup I watched Francis was dominant with 20 points and 9 rebounds. Francis rebounds send statements that rebounds belong to her. In the night she was playing, so was the scoreboard. Francis knocked down 20 and did so in a variety of ways including several smooth midrange jumpers. Francis was getting great position in the post and then getting to the rim or just pulling up for the short midrange shot. That pull up midrange shot is dangerously good. Just another took in the bag of one of the best players in the State.

not only reached the prestigious 1,000-point club, but she did so as a junior—a rare accomplishment. Chamiah is not only one of the top players in Florida but also one of the top players in the nation. In just three years at Booker T. Washington (Pensacola), she has averaged 15.8 PPG and an impressive double-double with 11.3 rebounds per game throughout her career.
This season, she continues her consistent production with averages of 14.2 PPG and 10.3 rebounds per game. Francis achieved this milestone with a versatile playing style that combines old-school post dominance with new-school techniques. She spreads the floor, beats opponents off the dribble, and has a reliable mid-range shot.
Francis is often the most dominant player on the court, and like many 1,000-point scorers, she consistently capitalizes on free-throw opportunities, shooting 61% from the line over her career. It won’t be long before Francis joins the 1,500-point club, and the 2,000-point club is well within reach.

was as dominant as ever this past Friday night and was doing damage all over the court. In a short time span, Francis showcased the nice midrange jumper and pulled down every rebound in her vicinity. She was too much in the paint. Once she sealed the defender, it was a done deal. She seemed to score at will with very little resistance in the paint.
