Leonna Sneed Leonna Sneed 5'6" | PG SA Wagner | 2025 State TX -5’7 G (Wagner)
Sneed just left me speechless when I caught her in the 5th grade bring “it” against HS seniors so her poise, as well as ability, solidified #BCSLock as she was doing it against legitimate players heading to BCS schools, the formula is simple yet the mid to long-range is a formula not yet made to stop as she just about scores whenever she wants however she wants
Aaliyah Chavez Aaliyah Chavez 5'9" | PG Monterey | 2025 State TX -5’7 G (Monterrey)
Chavez was also in the 5th grade when she threw a “no look” in traffic on the money from 25 feet, that “did it” for me, well the HEZ as well as the variety of moves coupled with a smooth and consistent pull-up jumper had something to do with it as well so it’s archived on what I saw I coming, no crystal ball was needed nor no copying from what anyone else said
Alaysia Gude Alaysia Gude 5'9" | CG LaVega | 2025 State TX -5’9 G (La Vega)
Gude has the mindset, the mentality, and the size that is going to create some major problems for defenders but let me start about her being “long and athletic” and can throw the ball the length of the court on the money, with either hand, for assists, not fabricating about her being ambidextrous, she also scores with either hand off the dribble as well as drops the mid to long-range
Nmesoma Okola Nmesoma Okola 6'1" | C Glenn | 2025 State TX -6’1 PF
Okola is also “long and athletic” and her TIMING just grabbed me when I first saw her grabbing rebounds out of the air effortlessly yet she also blocked, altered, and deflected shots, an acronym for that is BAD which is what she is becoming on the court, in a very good way. Her upside coupled with size and athleticism is scary as she scores well around the basket
Niyah Waters Niyah Waters 5'11" | SG Hendrickson | 2025 State TX -5’11 SF (Hendrickson)
Waters has the right past name because defenders will be wet trying to guard her silky smooth game and let me drop the “long and athletic” on her as well as she plays the passing lane and scores after the steal because she handles the ball under pressure, this also enables her to score off the dribble but she also has a nice mid to long-range game
Sadie Sanchez Sadie Sanchez 5'6" | PG Randall | 2025 State TX -5’6 PG (Randall)
Sanchez is shifty and no matter what the setting is, she STANDS tall and when you have the ability to “make those around you better” that places you on a totally different level yet her BB-IQ is very good, she doesn’t force anything and she silently can fill up the stat sheet or just take the game over from a variety of ways, either with the mid to long-range or acrobatic finishes
Jerriyah Barnes-5’11 PF (Killeen)
Barnes is bringing some “Bad News” for defenders, not many of you will get the connection because there is no me however she’s showing there ain’t many of her as she has a scorers mentality and is a punisher off the dribble as she finishes with players literally hanging on her but she also does it off the dribble yet the midrange is solid, so is her defense as she can wear down an opponent
Bella Edwards Bella Edwards 5'9" Lubbock Titans | 2025 TX -5’9 SG (HOMESCHOOL)
Edwards is emerging as one of the top shooters in her class, yeah she creates her shot under pressure, and yeah, the release is quick and smooth from mid to long-range but she also understands when to take the shot, that’s huge at this stage and her ability to “catch and shoot” the ball with accuracy just keeps getting better however she also scores off the dribble well
Honorable Mention
Hope Edwards Hope Edwards 5'6" | PG Leander | 2025 State TX
Chloe Donnell-5’6 SG (Geneva)
Savannah Salinas-5’11 SG (Boerne)
