Class of 2022 Rankings: Jacob’s Under the Radar Players

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124865" first="Angelina" last="Giordano"], 5’9” Guard, Loyola Academy</strong> A talented Combo Guard who does everything well on the offensive end, Giordano gives a ton of versatility with the skills to play any of the Guard positions. She spent a good amount of time at the PG spot this Summer to dial in her ball-handling skills and remains a consistent knock down shooter from deep. Angelina is a good athlete who shows great toughness and awareness on the defensive end to help get stops for her team. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="203013" first="Riley" last="Mont"], 5’7” Guard, West Aurora</strong> Mont is a high scoring Combo Guard who missed this past AAU season due to injury, but really lit up the scoreboard during her junior season. She is a terrific athlete who handles the ball with good quickness and control to beat defenders off the dribble and make plays in the lane. Riley has an outstanding jumper from anywhere on the court and dominates in the transition game with her decision making and finishing ability at the rim. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124879" first="Amanda" last="Hansen"], 6’2” Forward, Fenwick</strong> Hansen is an active inside post player who creates matchup issues against smaller and slower Forwards. She is extremely athletic and can defend a variety of players with her quickness and length. Amanda is a dominant rebounder on both ends and runs the floor well in the transition game so her Guards can get her the ball for easy fast break buckets. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="241897" first="Megan" last="Williams"], 5’10” Guard, Normal West</strong> A strong and reliable Combo Guard who plays on-ball most of the time due to her ball-handling and leadership, Williams is an extremely valuable player on offense. Megan is a three-level scorer with a nice-looking jumper from beyond the three-point line, and really thrives at attacking the lane and finishing strong at the hoop or dishing the ball to open teammates. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="292364" first="Evan" last="Pittman"], 6’1” Forward, Lincoln-Way West</strong> A skilled interior post player with a wide range of skills, Pittman continues to develop into a very intriguing prospect. She has a strong back to the basket game on the low block with good footwork and a variety of post moves to create open looks at the basket. Evan is a terrific rebounder on both ends of the court and has good touch around the hoop and a consistent jumper in the mid-range. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="124878" first="Torrie" last="Kortan"], 5’7” Guard, St. Charles East</strong> Kortan is a multi-talented Combo Guard who can play on or off-ball with her reliable ball-handling skills and ability to score from the wing. She is a great shooter from beyond the three-point line and knows how to move without the ball to get herself open so that her teammates can find her. Torrie is incredibly active on defense, constantly putting herself in position to make plays on the ball and using her toughness to be more physical than her opponent. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="160854" first="Mira" last="Schwanke"], 5’11” Guard, Fenwick</strong> A skilled two-way Shooting Guard with deep range on her jump shot, Schwanke brings a lot to the table at both ends of the floor. Aside from knocking down shots from well beyond the three-point line, she uses her athleticism to get to the basket where she is able to finish strong through contact. Mira is a great asset on the defensive end of the floor as she uses her length to defend multiple positions and disrupt passing lanes.
