Names to Know at the 36th Annual Coach Kipps Hoopsfest (Monday)

Coach Kipp's Hoopsfest isn't just another tournament. It's the standard. For over 3 decades, this event has set the tone for what a true girls basketball showcase should look like, bringing together high-level programs, real college prospects, and matchups that actually reveal who's ready for the next level. Year after year, players step onto this stage and leave as names that matter moving forward. If you're in the building for the final day of Kippsfest, these are a few names you should know about.    A solid and sound skillset for her class year. Cooper plays the game with a strong sense of pace and IQ. Off the ball, she can play the corner role and knock down the shots if the possession calls for it. When it's time for her to run the offense, she can use her ball handling and frame to get where she needs without having to be faster than her matchup. One of those players to forsure keep an eye on over the next couple of years.     Fischer's potential is high, and outside of her solid skillset on both ends of the floor, I believe her motor and relentless is key to why she fills up a stat sheet. From a rebound perspective, her length and the lack of fear of stronger players usually result in her having a high count on the boards.     Quinn has been a major piece of the success of this program over the past couple of years, and it's due to the confidence that she has, which never seems to sway. There's not a shot, nor a play on that court that she doesn't believe she can make. The shooting form is fluid, quick, and there's no hesitation. Can definitely add value to a program.     Williams has had a major leap in her skill over the past year, and with a D1 offer under her belt, it's been confirmed that she is a tough matchup on any given night. Versatile, adaptable, and confident. Having those qualities at this age usually points in the right direction as far as upside goes. She can lock down and cause havoc for the best guards, as well as keep up and or outscore the best of them.     Stumm plays the game a little more mature than her class level may show. Offensively, she can hurt you from all levels, but for me, her playmaking is what stands out. Its no neccesaly the assists, it's her knowledge of when to swing the ball to get a better look, or when to cut just enough to take away the eyes from another teammate. Rather its itentional, or all instinct.. regardless its impressive at this age.
