First Team All-Tournament: Top 250 Expo – Arizona

The Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo in Gilbert, Arizona was jam-packed with talent of all ages from across the state. After spending the morning watching these young ladies compete, it was difficult to narrow down the top overall performances. Everyone in attendance left it all out on the line and played their hardest. This event got me even more excited for the high school basketball season that will be here before we know it!! <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Prep Girls Hoops Top 250 Expo - Arizona: First Team</strong></p> <strong> #73 - [player_tooltip player_id="205639" first="Sarah" last="Nakamura Miller"]</strong> Unstoppable today at the Top 250 Expo. She got to the rim and was able to finish with ease, even through traffic. Strong when the ball is in her hands and makes sure to be the aggressor on both ends of the floor. Excels at all three levels. Extremely versatile. Very impressive style of play and leadership ability as a 2024. <strong><img class="wp-image-338358 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/10/65-Allison-Clarke-257x300.jpg" alt="" width="160" height="187" /></strong> &nbsp; <strong>#65 - [player_tooltip player_id="339068" first="Allison" last="Clarke"] </strong> Clarke has incredible handles and a very high basketball IQ. Super quick feet and hands-on defense. Came out of the gates HOT with big stops and knock down shots. A very confident and unselfish point guard that can see the entire floor at all times. &nbsp; <img class="wp-image-338664 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/10/IMG_2525-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="178" height="237" /> &nbsp; <strong>#9 - [player_tooltip player_id="339073" first="Bria" last="Medina"] </strong> Bria was one of the first players to stand out to me at the Expo. She did not let up on defense once and made sure to keep that same energy all day. Scrappy and confident player. Led her team well and instigated the energy that they would get. &nbsp; &nbsp; <b><img class=" wp-image-338672 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/10/IMG_2528-211x300.jpg" alt="" width="164" height="233" /></b> &nbsp; &nbsp; <b>#57 [player_tooltip player_id="214584" first="Kylee" last="Callahan"]</b> Callahan is an offensive machine! She is a confident guard with elite handles. Can finish coast-to-coast in traffic and will go out of the way to follow her own shot and get the offensive rebound. Strong and aggressive with the ball on the block. Wants to hustle and fight hard on both ends. &nbsp; <b>#93 [player_tooltip player_id="339076" first="Caitlin" last="Turnbow"]</b> Turnbow was one of the best all-around players of the day. Big-time defender and shot blocker that has a soft touch around the rim. Displayed great post moves and made an effort to run the floor. Played hard every minute she was on the floor. Makes it really tough on whoever she is guarding.
