Lariel Green 2022, 5’8” Forward ( University Christian) was really impressive during the open-gym period ready and is primed to have a very good senior campaign.   Green is a four-year varsity player and has been the “miss do everything” player during the last three seasons.  Green can handle the ball,  she can put the ball down on the floor, she can take it in the paint, and she can shoot it from the outside.  Defensively, Green can defend the 3 and the 4 positions and even some 5’s. With the addition of Yakiya Milton Yakiya Milton Yakiya Milton 6'4" | PF Mandarin | 2024 FL ,  Green will be able to play more at the 3 and 4 positions.  Green is a very good team leader and is one of the most coachable players on the First  Coast.

Cayla Massieb 2024, 5’4″ Guard  (Ribault)  looked season-ready during the open gym activities. Massieb is one of the veteran players on a very young Ribault team.  She is a high-energy player who thrives in the up-tempo game. Massieb has a knack for putting the ball in the basket and she has also improved on her outside shooting.  She is a fast player who presents a challenge for a pressing defense and also a  man-to-man defense.  She plays fast and likes to take the ball to the goal when presented with the opportunity. Massieb will be asked to lead her teammates on and off the court this season due to youthfulness.  She is a “cool customer” and looks forward to the challenge.

Savannah Bischoff 2025, 5’6″ Guard (Bartram) has shown a lot of improvement since last year and the Freshman looks like she will be an important piece of Bartram’s plans this season. The Freshman guard has always had athleticism and tenacity, but now she is adding new pieces to her game. Bischoff looks to be putting it all together just in time for the upcoming season. She is a good defensive player and will be a challenge to opposing guards. Bischoff and fellow Freshman Kendal Kain will be welcoming additions for Bartram this upcoming season.

Alanna Tatum Alanna Tatum Alanna Tatum 5'6" | PG University Christian | 2026 State FL 2026, 5’8″ Guard (University Christian) might be one of the best 2026 players on the First Coast and in the State of Florida, and she will get an early chance to showcase her talent at University Christian this upcoming season.  The 8th grader Tatum will add depth and talent to a very good University team.   Tatum is fast, active, and just a phenomenal athlete. She is going to be “a problem” for a lot of guards this upcoming season.   Offensively, Tatum can score the ball in a variety of ways.  Her defensive pressure sets up a lot of her scoring opportunities and she can also take it to the rack with a purpose. Tatum can shoot it from mid-range and is better than an average shooter from the perimeter.

Maya Richards 2024, 5’8″ Guard (Ponte Vedra) looked to be in midseason form during the open-gym period.  Richards showed some quick feet on cuts to the basket and demonstrated a strong basketball IQ.   Richards is coming off of a season-ending injury from last year and missed travel ball this past summer.   Richards was named defensive player of the year for Ponte  Vedra last basketball Season. At the open-gym, she showed a lot of quickness and toughness and could be on her way to another defensive player of the year award.
