I close out my look at the 2023s who played recently at the OGBR Elite Exposure event at Wittenberg University. Continued coverage from this event coming this week from Angie Saiter.
Also coming this month will be a complete look at the Northwest Ohio Shootout and an early look at some of the top high school teams around Ohio.

The first thing that stuck out to me was her ability to create her shots in and around the paint. At 5-8, she was not afraid of the bigger posts as she possessed solid footwork in the paint including a nice spin move and could score from anywhere around the basket. She has good body control around the rim and is very smart with the ball.
<span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong>Abby Rawlings, 5-2 2023, Kings</strong></span>
Fiery spunky guard who wasn’t afraid to mix it up inside or out. She plays very good on-ball defense with quick feet and active hands, creating pressure and turnovers. She showed good perimeter range, and despite her small frame, she will put a body on someone to box out, and can attack the loose ball well.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="93550" first="Allison" last="Kinney"], 5-10 2023, Indian Lake</span></strong></span>
She is a good multidimensional threat who can score from either on the inside, or can step out and knock it down from behind the arc. Strong physical kid who plays very nice post defense and with the ball in her hands, she is able to create shots for herself or her team. She is an aggressive defender and always gives 100%. Can play in an uptempo style, able to finish well at the rim. <em>(feature photo above)</em>
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="329487" first="Ceylone" last="Brooks"], 5-9 2023, Upper Arlington</span></strong></span>
As her game continues to grow, she will become more of a consistent threat offensively. She does have the ability to play in a fast paced offense, showed a nice ability to play downhill and put the ball on the floor to penetrate to the rim. Showed a nice perimeter game, just needs to get more reps. Smart player with good court awareness.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="216104" first="Karley" last="Moore"], 5-10 2023, Bethel</span></strong></span>
Here she is again.....this girl is everywhere. I don’t know a player who works harder to a variety of events to challenge herself and continue to work on her craft. Showed her ability to play long, good defender with long arms and active feet to compete against different positions. She does a good job on the boards, can clean the glass and push tempo. Loves to run the floor, can finish with a variety of moves. She will be at the Northwest Ohio Shootout this weekend for another opportunity.
<span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="216089" first="Bailey" last="Eddleman"], 5-5 2023, Claymont</span></strong></span>
She is a fiery guard who will take on any challenges given her. She has excellent body control and plays well in transition. She is a guard with good handles and is able to control the tempo of the game. She sees the court well, can distribute and her accurate passes leads to good things. Good on-ball defender.
