alexa aguero alexa aguero 5'7" Rankin | 2024 TX -5’7 G (Rankin HS)
Aguero uses her athleticism well on both ends of the court, she understands how to defend and did a good job staying in front of her man. She also showed she could handle the ball in the open court as well as take defenders off the dribble to score, she even created her outside shot while being pressured and knocked some down with a hand in her face
Kai Camp Kai Camp 5'8" Northwest High School, Justin TX | 2024 TX -5’8 G (Northwest HS)
Camp did a good job rebounding from the guard position and her rebounding against taller opponents showed she understands positioning which is good to have in the toolbox yet her ability to take the defender off the dribble was nice and effective as she scored with either hand after attacking the basket, with either hand after contact
Cassidy Gladney Cassidy Gladney 5'8" | PG Lake Belton | 2024 State TX -5’4 PG (Lake Belton HS) OK
Gladney made me GLAD she traveled from Oklahoma to showcase her skills and watching her handle the ball under pressure going coast to coast was nice as she took the ball all the way to score or hit teammates on the money, yet she also scored in the half-court set, both off the dribble and with the jumper not to leave out she was everywhere on defense and played the passing lane well
Enyce Williams Enyce Williams 5'10" Ld Bell | 2024 TX -5’10 PF (LD Bell HS)
Williams also used her athleticism nicely, either inside the paint when she was sometimes overpowering or off the dribble to score yet her pull-up jumper was effective, she created it well, not to leave out she also rebounded strongly on both ends of the court, got some baskets on putbacks plus she did a good job defensively understanding how to both switch and trap
Valary Soliz Valary Soliz 4'11" Rankin | 2024 TX -4’11 PG (Rankin HS)
Soliz is heady, she understands the game and plays within herself meaning she doesn’t force things that aren’t there. She handled the ball in the open court, she saw the floor and she made some nice passes but she also did a good job on defense as well as understanding how to get hers “in the flow”
China Dindu-Kplodi-6’7 C (Bishop Reicher)
Dindu-Kplodi had heads turning when she walked into the gym, including mine and although she’s nowhere near the finished product, she has a college-ready body, she moves well on both ends of the court. She rebounds on both ends of the court and she runs the floor. She showed she could score in the paint but again, her upside is nice
