[player_tooltip player_id="14171" first="Rachel" last="Dahlen"] - Devils Lake - (6’2/C/2022) - The talest player on this list and possibly the best rebounder, Rachel knows how to play old fashion back to the basket basketball. She can finish with either hand aroun the rim and has a soft hook shot. She gets plenty of buckets off offensive board opportunites using her athletic frame and long arms. Dahlen should have a standout senior season as she preps to play her freshman year of college basketball for Division 2 Wayne State.
[player_tooltip player_id="199635" first="Grace" last="Miller"] - Fargo North - (5’11/SF/2022) - A lefty that can shoot and has an explosive first step for getting around less mobile post players. That’s really all you need to know... Grace can play the 2-5 position if desired. She’s versatile and can create her own shot. She really throws defenders off who aren’t use to guarding lefties. She loves the right side of the court and has a sweet looking step back jumper to compliment her playstyle.
Scout Woods - Wahpeton - (5’10/SF/2025) - Scout played varsity this year as only a freshman. Woods averaged 10 points a game and found herself scoring a career high thus far of 17 against Fargo Davies. She’s quick, can handle the rock fairly well for an 8th grader, has a good looking jump shot already and is fearless when attacking the rim. Woods potential is unmatched by any other player we’ve coverd from the EDC. It’s going to be a pleasure watching her career unfold as she’ll be looked to carry the torch for Wahpeton in the coming years.
[player_tooltip player_id="240256" first="McKena" last="Koolmo"] - Wahpeton - (5’9/SG/2023) - The lady huskies struggled last season, but return a lot of young talent. Koolmo will be looked too as one of the leaders for the squad this coming season. She’s coming off roughly 9.4 ppg 3.5 rpg and 1.3 stls. Koolmo is a player that can shoot it lights out or rip and drive. It’ll be interesting how the summer plan went for the lady huskies and how much progression the team has made for the upcoming season.
[player_tooltip player_id="14172" first="Ava" last="Wild"] - Fargo Davies - (6’0/PF/2022) - A post that can play inside or out. Wild has some incredible defense and athleticism. In this scouts personal opinion she could guard almost 1-5. She has really solid footwork and uses her length to her advantage. She causes a lot of havoc on the defensive and offensive end. She can finish with the best of the posts in the conference. If Wild has developed a consistant jump shot over the summer... WATCH OUT!!! Ava is about to go Wild for her senior season.
