Coaches always want players with versatility on their roster. This allows them to attack in a variety of ways and provides options on the defensive end. I’m going to give you 10 versatile seniors to keep an eye on during the 2021-2022 high school basketball season.

Ashley is a senior that we should keep an eye on. This summer she was really impressive with her footwork and fluidity. This allowed Ashley to attack offensively in a variety of ways.
[player_tooltip player_id="147744" first="Olivia" last="Dirkse"] (PG, Davison)
Dirkse just provides so much out of the backcourt that I had to include her in this list. She’s a tremendous lead guard that can set and run an offense. But give her 1 inch, and she’ll fire off and bury a triple. Dirkse is just such a tough cover because of her combination of skills.
[player_tooltip player_id="277638" first="Emmalyn" last="Geers"] (PF, Kent City)
Geers can really fit under the term ’positionless basketball’. She’s one of the players that can contribute in any facet of the game on any given night. I honestly wouldn’t be shocked to see a double-double in rebounds and assists this season.
[player_tooltip player_id="277675" first="Alisha" last="Isenberg"] (PF, Goodrich)
Isenberg has a skill set that sometimes looks odd in the stat sheet. She’ll always stand out in blocks and steals. This combination makes her a versatile nightmare for her opponents as their isn’t anywhere on the defensive end where she isn’t a threat.
[player_tooltip player_id="277635" first="Davai" last="Matthews"] (PF, Wayne Memorial)
Matthews is a factor in the the paint as well as on the perimeter. She’ll battle down low and establish position in order to grab boards, but she’ll also step outside and hit a smooth jumper.
[player_tooltip player_id="147741" first="Gracey" last="Metz"] (CG, Hartland)
Metz is a sparkplug in the backcourt where she is incredibly versatile. She can play on or off the ball with equal effectiveness as well as score with her jumper and by attacking the rim off the dribble.
[player_tooltip player_id="227299" first="Brynn" last="Reams"] (PF, Ionia)
Reams is a player that die hard fans of the game really appreciate. She’ll pick up high percentage put back buckets with her grit under the rim. However, she does have the ability to pull bigger defenders out on the perimeter.
[player_tooltip player_id="277650" first="Alexis" last="Snodgrass"] (PF, Hartford)
I really liked her versatility at a Flight Hankamp Open Run. She handled the ball, was efficient with her jumper, and battled on the boards. Snodgrass could defend all over the floor as well.
[player_tooltip player_id="147717" first="Madisen" last="Wardell"] (PF, Detroit Edison)
I’m a huge fan of Wardell’s game and a big part of that is because of her versatility. She’s a threat to score from anywhere on the floor and could probably guard 4 positions at the high school level.
[player_tooltip player_id="147734" first="Kendal" last="Zeiter"] (PF, Troy)
Zeiter is a terrific player and prospect and her versatility on offense makes her a big time threat. She can go to work with her back to the basket and score with a quick post move. The very next possession, she’ll face up and bury a triple.
