Class of 2025 Rankings: Players Inside the Top 100 By Michael Wholey 11/5/21 5:00 PM EST In our first release of the Class of 2025, Monday we took a look at the top 7 players, Tuesday we took a look inside the top 20, Wednesday we looked at players inside the Top 50, and today we look at players inside the Top 100. About Our Rankings Prep Girls Hoops prospect rankings have been compiled by our staff with input from high school, club and college coaches from across the state. Players are ranked on their status as a college prospect. We aim to expand and update our prospects rankings 2-4 times per year to continue to maintain the most comprehensive, accurate prospect rankings in the country. You can take a look at the Class of 2025 Rankings HERE: [player_tooltip player_id="221633" first="Sydney" last="Wilson"] (Miami Senior HS / Miami Suns South) - 4'11 SG Overall Rank: 50 Positional Rank: 9 The youngest of several sisters, she has grown up in the gym as a hook junkie and carries herself on the court as a player that has consistently played against girls 1-4 years older than her. She has excellent handle, shifty 1v1 moves, changes speeds well, and is good in the open court. She is small in stature but defenders got to get low to guard off off the dribble. She has a high basketball IQ and good court vision. Wilson is a fun player to watch! [player_tooltip player_id="346859" first="Sara" last="Blair"] (Dillard HS / GT Queens) - 6'5 C Overall Rank: 51 Positional Rank: 4 Blair is big in all definitions of the word and occupies a lot of space. On the court, she is a woman going up against girls. Her mass and size are very intimidating and challenging for players of all sizes to move or defend her. When she can keep up with the speed of the game, she is extremely effective in the paint and when she establishes low post position. [player_tooltip player_id="346885" first="Mikayla" last="Paschal"] (Largo HS / Tampa Thunder) - 5'10 Forward Overall Rank: 52 Positional Rank: 6 Mikayla is long, athletic, physical, and aggressive forward who has a ton of potential to ultimately be a low D1 or D2 college basketball prospect. Although raw she is strong and a very good rebounder – taking on a football player type mentality. She has a great gene pool, as her dad played football at Iowa and her low and mid post games are developing. Potential stock riser as she plays more! [player_tooltip player_id="248454" first="Sumayah" last="McIntosh-Lewis"] (Admiral Farrgut / Candace Parker Hoop Dreams Elite) - 5'9 Wing Overall Rank: 53 Positional Rank: 11 McIntosh was a new face for me this July and one of many talented perimeter players on the young 2025 Candace Parker Hoop Dreams Elite squad. She was a strong guard with a good frame, broad shoulders, and played physical as well as able to take on contact. She put the ball to the floor looking to attack the rim and didn't care who got in her way. She seems to be coming off an injury, I am curious to see her at 100% health and to see how her game translates to the varsity level. [player_tooltip player_id="248691" first="Brianna" last="Brown"] (Calvary Christian Academy / GT Queens) - 5'8 Wing Overall Rank: 59 Positional Rank: 12 Brown stood out all spring / summer with her ability to knock down the open 3. She has good form, a quick release and shoots a high percentage. Her range extends several feet beyond the arc making her one of the top shooters in her class! [player_tooltip player_id="221642" first="Savanna" last="Nicholson"] (G Nation / Cardinal Gibbons) - 5'6 PG Overall Rank: 76 Positional Rank: 1 Nicholson is a fan favorite for her competitiveness, hustle, and energy. She is a much-improved guard whose game is opening up as her body has filled out and she has grown. A capable ball handler, Nicholson is best playing on the wing and off the catch. She is good attacking the baseline and wing off the catch going right and is a capable 3-point shooter. [player_tooltip player_id="248647" first="Imony" last="Housey"] (Hollywood Huskies) - 5'8 PF Overall Rank: 83 Positional Rank: 11 Housey is a big, strong, undersized, physical post whose offensive skill set continues to improve. She needs to continue to grow if she is going to be an impact player down low, otherwise she will need to develop more of a perimeter game. Her size and strength are major assets and she is one of the most improved areas all across the state. She is one to keep an eye on her development. [player_tooltip player_id="346860" first="Sydney" last="Lumpkins"] (Pompano Beach High / GT Queens) - 5'7 SG Overall Rank: 86 Positional Rank: 18 Lumpkins was a consistent spark for the GT Queens 2024 squad often providing an energy boost off the bench with her energy, hustle, and willingness to do the dirty work! She is a talented shooting guard that can consistently make an open 3, attack the basket, finish at the rim in traffic, and run the floor in transition. [player_tooltip player_id="346977" first="Carmen" last="McDaniel"] (Palm Beach Garden Starzz) - 5'6 CG Overall Rank: 89 Positional Rank: 23 McDaniel was a new face for me in July playing with Palm Beach Garden Starzz. She is a young wing with raw athleticism. She looks young to the game but has a chance to develop if she continues to improve her offensive skill set and gets stronger. About the Class of 2025 Rankings This is the first release of the class of 2025. We have looked at players performance and potential with both their High School and Travel teams. If there is a player that not included in the rankings or you feel is not ranked properly, please email us at WholeyPrepHoops@gmail.com and include Name, Height, Position, HS, Travel team, any stats available and any video available. Our goal is to cover the entire state, but we are well aware that we have not seen everyone in the state and those that we have seen, we have not seen all of them equally the same amount of time and games. We have done our best to rank the players based on what we have seen personally. Our next updated ranking will be released in January of 2022. Michael Wholey is Prep Girls Hoops Florida Senior Scout and oversees the Florida rankings along with other contributing members and writers for @PGHFlorida. You can email Michael Wholey at WholeyPrepHoops@gmail.com or DM him on Twitter or Instagram @WholeyPrepHoops.
