She has a lot of high school left, but with the way that this young lady plays, you would not tell. She can shoot the ball behind the perimeter and her quickness blowing by defenders make her a playmaker with the ability to light it up on the floor on any given game day. She will lead Trinity this year as they look to keep their momentum off of a conference championship looking to repeat.
Marcela Rodriquez, 2022, Perry High School
Rodriquez is will be the go-to scorer for the pirates. The pirates like to play an inside-out game which will lead to her showing off her ability to knock down big shots. The ability that this young lady has will now be in the light as she will look to lead the pirates and utilize her best friend Jac’ana Anderson in the two-man game and be a workhorse all year long. Aggressive as they come and a rebounding machine. When she attacks to the basketball she does not slow down as she has the ability to finish through traffic and does a phenomenal job at working for the clean-up crew. Her team did a phenomenal job last year and will lean on the senior to really be the reason that they will in the division that they play in. A multiple-sport athlete that excels on and off the court.
