Winton Woods brings a lot of unknowns to the table, but two things knows very well to Cincinnati basketball are new coach Carlton Gray and senior leader [player_tooltip player_id="32606" first="Chance" last="Gray"]. Gray spent many years as an assistant at Lakota West and when he took the job at Winton Woods, his daughter came with him. Gray is an Oregon signee and is one of the top three players in Ohio. An outstanding shooter, great court vision, can do it all. She is joined by an incoming freshman Daniah Trammel who has been solid early on.
O’Toole is a very solid all-around player for Milford, under the direction of Matt Tolliver. He should be very competitive this season with O’Toole leading the way. She is a floor general and can score in multiple ways. She is a smart player with good court vision and good hands. [player_tooltip player_id="312674" first="Paige" last="Ayler"] is another 2023 who will be a factor in the success of the team this season.
Loveland had three players returning, making them one to contend with. Josie Early is a 5-7 2023 who plays guard with good court awareness. Olivia Raby is also a 2023 but at 6-2 will control things around the rim. [player_tooltip player_id="269831" first="Nia" last="Kemper"] is a 5-3 senior who provides good leadership and can play in transition.
Lebanon will bring in some solid talent with a good mixture of experience and rising younger stars. [player_tooltip player_id="217354" first="Maddie" last="Mueller"] is a 5-7 2024 who is skilled for a sophomore with good handles and can score in different ways. 2022 Sam Feldman, a 5-10 wing also is a key to their success along with 5-5 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="329483" first="Keira" last="Rogers"] and incoming 2025 [player_tooltip player_id="319357" first="Jordan" last="Mueller"]. Should be competitive in this league.
Swisshelm is a player who will lead West Clermont to a successful season. She is not only a talented midrange shootout, but has range beyond the arc and can get to the rim and finish. Exceptional free throw shooter. Another returning player to watch is Madison Acuff, a 2023 who continues to grow her game. 2024 Taylor Schmidt is a rising sophomore who has good range.
Anderson will be competitive with good balance. Shelby Humphrey is at her third school after moving over from Roger Bacon last season. She is a strong presence at both ends of the floor, has range behind the arc and defensively can disrupt the play and create turnovers. Josie Griesser is a 2025 worth watching, a strong physical kid who can create.
One of the top offensive players in the conference is Briscoe, as the 5-8 2022 looks to lead Little Miami to a successful season. She is an extremely strong three-point shooter and should get some consistent help from Bella Houillion, a rising 2025.
