In the Greater Cleveland Conference there are six teams that make up that conference:
Medina (Last Year Conference Standings 9-2) – Medina High School is the only High School in the Medina City School District which has been open since 1973. As well as It serves 2,108 students from grades 9–12.
Strongsville (Last Year Conference Standings 8-2) – Strongsville High School was founded in 1986 with the colors of forest green and white. Also the serve a notable 1,933 students in grades 9-12.
Brunswick (Last Year Conference Standings 7-4) – Brunswick High School it is the only high school in the Brunswick City School District which was founded in 1967. Also, they offers a comprehensive educational program consisting of ten Advanced Placement Courses and Honors-Level programming in all academic areas.
Solon (Last Year Conference Standings 7-5) – Solon High School was founded in 1898 with the colors of White, Navy Blue. In 2013, Solon High School was awarded the prestigious Red Quill Award from the ACT organization for the sixth consecutive year, and the Red Quill Legacy Award for the second consecutive year, for excellent overall student scores on the ACT.
Mentor (Last Year Conference Standings 3-6) – Mentor High School Mentor High School is the only high school in the Mentor Exempted Village School District which was founded in 1923.
Euclid (Last Year Conference Standings 2-7) – Euclid High School was founded in 1868 with the school colors being Navy blue and Gold.

Mackenzie Blackford a player a part of Solon High School last year on her freshman season debut she averaged 7.5 points per game. She is a freshman who also did her job on the decisive side with an average of 2.1 steals per game. She is going into her sophomore season. Definitely, a player to watch as she will show her growth as a player over the course of this 21-22 season. With her superior work ethic there is no doubt that she won’t bring the energy.
Morgan Blackford Morgan Blackford 5'8" | CG Solon | 2023 State OH a player on the Solon High School basketball team. For starters, she averaged 14.4 points per game. That can tell you that she is a strong offensive force on this Solon squad. Not to mention, as a point guard she averaged 7.0 rebounds a game that can tell you that she is a hard worker on the court. She will most certainly have a lot of eyes on her this season. This is a playmaker that is relentless she is one of the better players in the area in her class.
Mackenzie Schulz Mackenzie Schulz 6'0" | CG Stronsgville | 2023 State OH plays for Strongsville High School standing at 5’11. In addition she is a tall combo guard who is growing as a player and has shown us what she can do from the 3 point line. Not to mention she has a 4.25 grade point average she has shown from her first year of high school that she can perform on and off the court year after year. Expect this year to be a year that she leads a motivated team to new heights.
Journey Hilderbrand plays for Brunswick High School she is a big part of Brunswick team. For example, last season playing against Solon High School in a tight game they won that game by her making late game shots. She is a up and coming talent. This will be a player that will get looked at this upcoming season and moving forward as she had a phenomenal offseason with an offer from area Kent State.
Hailey Tripp is a senior at Medina High School and plays with a high motor. Getting up and down the floor is not a problem for her. She does a great job finishing through contact and has the ability to knock down big shots in transition. Tripp is a special player for her team this year that has lost a few pieces, but will look to a bigger role to be handled by this good floor general.

1 Fun Fact in the Great Lakes Conference:
Ashlyn Dyson A Transfer to Brunswick High School. Last year she averaged 12.2 points per game and 5.4 rebounds. She is a hard worker on the court and you can tell she takes pride in it. She will definitely be a player to watch as she joins Brunswick squad.
