The Miami Valley League will be a very competitive conference this season, as several teams have a chance to compete for the league title. Teams in the Miami Division include Butler, Greenville, Piqua, Tippecanoe and Troy. The Valley Division consists of Fairborn, Sidney, Stebbins, West Carrollton and Xenia.

The Tippecanoe squad are the defending league champions, having never lost a game in this conference. They have shown great resilience against their league foes, and this year could be interesting. They lost three 6-footers to graduation and don’t have the height this season, having to rely on strong guard play. Everyone is coming for a new look Tipp team this year.
Sidney will likely be the most talented team in the conference, bringing back their top three players, and have added a solid 6-foot transfer from Jackson Center. [player_tooltip player_id="93557" first="Allie" last="Stockton"] (feature photo above) returns as the top player in the Valley Division, as the 5-11 wing can score both inside or out. She has good range and a physical style game. [player_tooltip player_id="216090" first="Lexee" last="Brewer"] is the epitome of what a point guard is supposed to do. Very talented.
Troy brings back the top player in the conference and PGH Top 15 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="32622" first="Macie" last="Taylor"], who has showed a lot of great things in the preseason. She will get help from Makenzee Maschino, who does a good job on the boards and around the paint. They have a good group of younger players to assist in the success of the Trojans. They will feel the pressure from Tipp and a very good Butler team led by Bardonaro and uncommitted 2022 [player_tooltip player_id="212902" first="Evan" last="Neely"].
West Carrollton will be vastly improved if what I saw in the scrimmages are any indication. [player_tooltip player_id="218276" first="Selena" last="Frost"] if going to be very special as she continues to grow her game. Ashley Williams will be one of the biggest sleepers in the conference, as the 5-3 2023 can shoot as well as anyone from the perimeter. Taryn Dewberry is a 5-5 2022 who scored at a double figure pace last season.

Tipp’s Alexa Mader, who would have been one of the top players in the conference, is not playing this season so she can focus on volleyball. She had a great summer with Team Ohio Coffee, but will be very busy with an elite club team this winter.
Taylor has verballed to play her college basketball at Wright State University.
Sidney has added a rising 2023 to their attack as [player_tooltip player_id="216106" first="Regan" last="Clark"] comes over from Jackson Center. Clark is very versatile with her game, can post up her post defender, or step out and score from behind the arc. She brings a good presence to what they already have.
