We talked with the coach after the game and she shared their story and we were impressed with how these girls had worked hard all season and were excited to get it going this season coming and play some great basketball. We will evaluate all of the girls in this picture and talk about what their contribution to the team was on this day.
2024 Lauren Romero – Lauren showed us she was a willing defender and a dynamic guard that could handle and get the shot she wanted to get. She was aggressive and made the right plays on the floor and made her teammates better. She is a good guard with a lot of potential and will continue to get better as she plays the game.
Patty Gonzales – Patty lent some assistance on the floor from the perimeter and in the paint, her team used the best offense they could utilizing the read and react offense, which gave them a hand up on thier opponents. She shot the ball well from the perimeter and also did some things trying to get to the rim, we were impressed with those skills as well.
2022 Glarissa Soliz – Another solid guard on this team that played hard and made the best of her time on the floor, kept the defense guessing and played solid defense for her team as well. Shot the ball from the midrange pretty well and was able to get a break away layup when it was possible for her team. Loved her tenacity on the floor when I watched this team play.
2023 Aaliyah Bradley – Aaliyah was a joy to watch, she has size, college body type, can handle the rock, shoot it and is an athletic specimen for her team. She was a threat from all three areas on the floor, she could put it on the floor and get to the rim or stop and pop a floater in the midrange or knock down a three pointer. She blocked shots at the rim and on the perimeter, this girl is one to watch, she will play at the next level for sure, we will be adding her to our rankings this part, once we verify her class,
2024 – Briana Diaz – Another crafty player for this squad, was very aggressive and knew how to use her size and ability on the floor. She could put in on the floor and attack, she made floaters look easy and she would swiss a three pointer if you backed up off of her. This kids was shaky with the handle and could break down the defense and get to the rim for a score or a nice dish to a teammate for an assist. This kid is good, we look forward to seeing her play again this year.
