It was a very good game and it came down to the final minutes of the 4thf quarter to decide the winner of this contest, but just know that both teams gave it their all in this one.
2022, 5’0, PG/CG, Vhenus Gaoa – small scrappy, quick and smart little guard that knows how to play the game, she is the heart and soul of this team and it shows. She is skilled from all three levels on the floor and she shows her smooth lefty stroke on the floor and it is nothing but butter when it leaves her hands. She is equally defensive minded and can run the team with precision and keep them ready to score.
2023, 5’6, SF, Ashley Castillo – small forward in the paint that is very capable of running the floor and making plays for her team. She is skilled in the paint and on the perimeter, which makes her dangerous on the floor at anytime, cause she is a good ball handler and passer to boot. She can shoot the midrange and get to the basket by blowing by her opponent for scores. She is very good on the defensive end of the floor and is an aggressive shot blocker and rebounder.
2022, 5’7, G, Sydney McKee Sydney McKee 5'6" | PG Artesia HS | 2022 State CA – Offensively aggressive guard that has the tools to make things happen in the game at all times. She is skilled to score at all three levels on the court, but she is equally a good defender as well. She is the key player for Artesia and is on the floor to get buckets, but what is tough is that she has to score from the point guard position and most teams will double her. She takes it well and is able to make plays for her and her teammates.
2022, 5’5, G, Esja Shriver – Skilled shooter and ball handler, she is by far their best three point shooter, but she can also lend some time at the point guard spot. She defends well and is a willing teammate to set some good screens, but her best attribute to her team is the ability to score.
