King showed off her range shooting from deep. She sees the floor well finding her open teammates underneath the basket. She has a lot of strength getting inside to grab some rebounds, especially late in the game when her opponent was trying hard to get second chances.
Laila Anderson | The Burlington School | G | 2022
17 points // 8 rebounds // 1 assist // 3 steals
Anderson (pictured above) showed off her shot from deep, and she didn’t hesitate to get inside to grab some rebounds. She slid into passing lanes to grab steals. She controlled the tempo of the game pushing the ball up the court or settled it back to start an offensive play.

16 points // 3 rebounds // 2 assists // 2 blocks
Brigman made her presence known as soon as she stepped on the court blocking shots and going up high for some rebounds. Her stroke from behind the arc was on display, too, and she was certainly the main energy driver giving her team some life in a tough battle.

Sinclair does well anticipating passes constantly deflecting them out of bounds and grabbing steals. She pushes the ball up the court with speed, and she does a great job finding open teammates underneath the basket to get some points. She can take it all the way to the hoop, and she moves even without the ball to find the openings and score.
Maggie Houpt | South Meck | G | 2023
15 points // 5 rebounds // 1 assist // 1 block
Houpt was on fire knocking down four three pointers from deep. She did well crashing the boards for rebounds, and she battled through contact to score some points by the basket. She even had a nice block showing off her versatility.
Daja Taylor Daja Taylor 5'5" | PG Newberry Academy | 2022 State SC | Newberry Academy | G | 2022
15 points // 4 rebounds // 1 assist // 1 steal
Taylor showed off her range knocking down three three-pointers in the first half to try to give her team some life. She crashed the boards to grab rebounds, and she knew how to cause some problems on defense deflecting passes and grabbing steals.
Serenity Woods Serenity Woods 5'7" | SG South Pointe | 2025 State SC | Legion Collegiate Academy | G | 2025
14 points // 2 rebounds // 1 steal // 1 block
Woods is already a leader for her team controlling the tempo of the game and directing her teammates where to go on offense. She drove hard into the paint and was able to convert points well from the free throw line. Look to see her continue to be a big contributor the rest of her high school career.
Devin Long | Olympic | G | 2024
12 points // 2 rebounds // 3 steals
Long was scoring on multiple levels driving hard to the basket through contact or stepping back for her jump shot. She anticipated what her opponents would do and grabbed the steals before they got a play going. She’s certainly been an asset to this team in her young high school career.
