was showing off her range shooting the ball well from beyond the arc. She attacks the basket making nice moves losing her opponents with ease to get the open look. She was making plays on all levels knocking down shots and finishing at the rim. Her presence on defense was a nuisance jumping in front of passes and grabbing steals that she pushed right up the court.

Serenity Woods plays with a bounce in her step. She is a skilled player and a great athlete as well. Woods can shoot the basketball from feet behind the three-point line and has a smooth release. When Woods catches the ball on the perimeter, her feet are set and she is ready to fire. She is ready for a huge summer on the court with Team Curry .

Woods has a new address this season after playing at Legion Collegiate last season. Serenity is now attending South Pointe HS in Rock Hill. She certainly has the trigger to pull-up from down while on the floor. Serenity plays her best basketball off the ball. She will be a great piece to already talented Lady Stallions squad at South Pointe HS this coming season.

Between Tuthill, Stevenson and Woods, the upcoming 2022-23 season for Legion Collegiate appears as if it will be an extension of the travel season with Team Curry. The former Cardinal Newman star has found a footing with the Lancers. Coaches probably have it somewhere in their playbooks to not foul Woods – because it is an automatic two or three points if it happens. Just as Woods is effective as a free throw shooter, she is also as effective from the midrange or from deep. Add in ball distribution abilities and it is easy to see why she garnered playing time in all 32 games last season as a backcourt stalwart for the Lancers.

SHOOTER ALERT!! Serenity feels very comfortable knocking down shots out on the perimeter especially from behind the 3-point line. She will drop floaters in the lane when she’s hustling down a loose ball or making a quality pass to an open teammate.
Woods plays the game extremely UNSELFISH and is always thinking team first. She has plenty of pieces around her on a very talented Lady Landers roster up in Rock Hill.
