Guards That Aren’t A Gamble – Rankings Update

There’s a ton of perimeter talent on the board in Michigan’s class of 2023. I’m going to give you 10 guards, outside of the top 20, that are definitely NOT a gamble for coaches at the next level. These will all be guards that I believe are sure bets at the next level. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="335989" first="Samyiah" last="Jefferson"] (PG, Detroit Mumford)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #24 Jefferson is a good old fashioned playmaker. She’s not just a high school playmaker, but she’s one at the next level as well. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189295" first="McKenna" last="Macon"] (PG, Mattawan)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #26 Macon has experience that’s beyond her years. She plays remarkably mistake free basketball at the point guard position. I just don’t see how she won’t succeed at the next level. <strong>Sela Leffler (CG, North Farmington)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #27 The growth and versatility of Leffler’s game is a sign of things to come. She can advance and distribute at the point or shoot the triple playing the 2. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189306" first="Liv" last="Linden"] (CG, Hartland)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #30 Trust me, Linden’s climb up the rankings probably won’t stop at #30. She’s a hard working team type player that makes the players around her better. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="190706" first="Mary" last="Copple"] (PG, Brighton)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #36 This one was easy. If you can shoot the ball like Copple, you have pretty good odds of making a college coaches day. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189307" first="Isabel" last="Lindo"] (PG, Williamston)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #38 Lindo is the type of floor general that will do whatever her teams needs in order to pick up a W. She adapts well to each and every game. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="230801" first="Maddie" last="Ebbert"] (CG, Lake Orion)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  ##45 Ebbert is so versatile. Her length and strength allows her to guard multiple positions and be a matchup nightmare on offense. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="189318" first="Alyssa" last="Wypych"] (PG, Rockford)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #47 I’ve written a lot about Wypych lately, but I just really like the look of her game right now. She might just be a steal at the next level. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="256565" first="Angela" last="Tringali"] (SG, Oakland Christian)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #136 Don’t look past the fact that Tringali is playing some really good basketball right now. A school that she lands at will be guaranteed a very coachable player with a nice upside. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="280867" first="Julia" last="Johnson"] (SG, Fowlerville)</strong> Prep Girls Hoops Michigan Ranking:  #177 Johnson is very underrated and I think will end up being a very nice addition to a program someday. She can put the ball in the basket and is efficient in doing so. &nbsp;
