Holiday Hoop Fest: LCA Edition

<p class="p1">I was able to catch the last two games of Pridgeon Event Management’s Holiday Hoop Fest including some of these standouts from Legion Collegiate Academy.</p> <p class="p1"><b><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/Nadia-Burns-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1640294668.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-368232 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/Nadia-Burns-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1640294668-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>[player_tooltip player_id="235090" first="Nadia" last="Burns"] </b>(2023) was a big presence in the paint moving around to get open.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She had a nice series of plays blocking a shot on one end that lead to a steal for her team.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She then hustled back on offense to score the bucket on a fast break.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>This happened on multiple occasions during the game.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She hd some nice blocks throughout the game.</p> <p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="331885" first="Jada" last="Anderson"] </b>(2023) was wreaking havoc on defense constantly deflecting passes and grabbing steals making sure her opponents didn’t have any opportunities to score some points.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She scored on multiple levels showing off her range from deep and driving hard to the basket.</p> <p class="p1"><b><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/Trinity-Baker-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1640294715.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-368234 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/Trinity-Baker-scaled-crop-1920x1261-1640294715-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>[player_tooltip player_id="266052" first="Trinity" last="Baker"] </b>(2024) made sure she was known as a shooter knocking down four three pointers in the game against Central Cabarrus.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She was constantly moving around finding the open areas on the court, and she did well crashing the boards for some rebounds.</p> <p class="p1"><b>[player_tooltip player_id="253658" first="Aubrey" last="Stevenson"] </b>(pictured above, 2025) crashed the boards herself grabbing rebounds.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She can take these boards coast to coast with ease scoring in transition as she beats everyone else down the court with the ball.<span class="Apple-converted-space">  </span>She was constantly knocking the ball away from her opponents on defense.</p>
