Zachara Perkins Zachara Perkins 6'3" | SF Summer Creek | 2024 State TX -6’1 CG (St Pius)
Perkins is averaging 23 ppg yet her 3 three pointers has got to be a typo because I’ve watched her drop 6 or 7 in games numerous times yet she’s long and athletic, can score off the dribble but her court vision has definitely gotten better, so has her ballhandling and observing her play the passing lane as well as her timing to block shots just keeps me smiling about her progression
Melinda Watson-6’0 PF (Hastings)
Winston is a #THROWBACK player in so many aspects and watching her “put in work” around the basket makes me smile because she literally scores in the paint with players hanging on her, this includes putbacks from offensive rebounds, yes she rebounds on both ends yet at the Katy Classic she also showed a nice mid to long-range game yet her going after the ball off the rim, on the floor, or in the stands just took me back to a different era and she’s dropping a tad over 19 ppg
Maddy Kincaide-5’6 G (Alvin)
Kincaide’s last name kept grabbing me and I used the search bar on my website, something I say to do over and over before bothering me with nonsense yet she was in the wrong class, I hate do-overs, yet unlike The Wire, I changed her to her correct class and she’s dropping 18 ppg this season and from what I saw earlier at All Eyez On Me Individual Showcase, I can definitely see it, that is a MUST ATTEND EVENT to be truly EVALUATED
Joemoriah Ben Joemoriah Ben 5'6" | PG Houston Sterling | 2024 State TX -5’6 CG (Sterling) 13’7
Ben was added to The Top 100 for her class after a stellar club season and it appears nothing has changed as she’s averaging almost 14 ppg on a variety of ways yet I’m more impressed with her field goal percentage being over 50 % yet her midrange was definitely nice but against Waltrip, she dropped a quadruple-double, I know “it’s not what you do, it’s who you do it against” but her ability to see the floor as well as rebounding keeps soaring
Raniyah Lewis Raniyah Lewis 5'8" | CG Conroe | 2024 State TX -5’7 CG (Conroe)
Lewis shined recently at the Katy Tournament and it took me back to when I locked her in at #D1 in the 6th grade and I actually couldn’t remember her name so her club coach hadn’t turned in a roster but said all of these girls are going D1 “remember their names ” yet without a roster, that’s hard even for me but the nonsense from adults doesn’t stop me and evidently the defense can’t stop her because she has one of the best pull-up jumpers in Texas, her release is quick and the shot is accurate but she also is powerful off the dribble and finishes after contact, she’s averaging over 13 ppg
Taylor Jones Taylor Jones 5'5" | CG Oak Ridge | 2024 State TX -5’5 SG (Oak Ridge)
Jones is also averaging over 13 ppg, I have seen her both in the Oak Ridge Tournament and Katy Classic and one thing stands solid, she can shoot the ball, and even though I have always enjoyed her dropping the long-range jumper, that midrange is looking very good, so is her attacking the basket and finishing
