Jones finished week 5 averaging 14.2 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 5 blocks per game, and is leaving no doubt that she is the most dominant player on the First Coast. Veronica “Ronnie” Hannah 2023, 5’6″ G (St Augustine) Hanna has been shooting the cover off the ball. Middleburg and Orlando Evans performances are some of the highlight games this season. Hannah does a good job of working in the flow of the offense and always makes good decisions with the ball. Hannah has been on fire her last few games with 16 and 19 points in back-to-back games and 11 three-pointers in her last 3 games. The sharpshooting Hannah has connected on 23 threes in the first 10 games of the season. Hannah is a great team player and doesn’t force shots. Kayla Kastor Kayla Kastor 5'8" | PF Creekside | 2023 State FL 2023, 5’10 C/F (Creekside) had a solid week of basketball and actually, she has had a solid season as we reach mid-season. Kastor is an athletic player and she is a force on the defensive end. She also does a great job of crashing the boards for rebounds. Kastor is averaging over 8 points per game and nearly 9 rebounds per contest and she flirts with a double-double every game. Kastor even posted a triple-double once this season. This past week Kastor had a very good performance against a very good Nease team, scoring 11 points and grabbing 15 rebounds. Kastor does a good job of running the court and she showed that she can put the ball down and take it to the goal. Kastor also does a good job with the press break and has proven to be a great option in the press break. Kastor makes good decisions and consistently finds the open person to pass the ball to. Defensively, Kastor can defend on the wing, and also at 5’10, she can defend in the paint.
