PGH Ohio 2022’s To Watch! Part 1

<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32606" first="Chance" last="Gray"] 5'9, Winton Woods H.S.:  </strong>(<em>Below with ball) </em>Incredible athlete to watch on both ends of the court. She has a way of just breezing through multiple defenders. Excellent handles, never rattled, and has numerous ways to score- 3's, mid-range jumpers, outstanding on transition, charity stripe. Explosive guard to watch- special talent. <img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-364048" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/IMG_0723-300x300.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="300" /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32618" first="Imarianah" last="Russell"] 5'11, Reynoldsburg H.S.:  </strong>(<em>Below on defense) </em>Imarianah is one of the most aggressive, physical players I've seen. Tenacious defender, who gives very little breathing room for opponents. She can come out of nowhere- anticipating passes, and can score with her blazing speed in no time. Without question has the green light to shoot from anywhere.  She's a walking bucket! <img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-314812" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/08/IMG_0080.jpeg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /> &nbsp; <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="92512" first="Lanae" last="Riley"] 5'11, Akron Hoban H.S.: </strong>Riley is a beast!  Her on ball and in the seam defense is beautiful to watch- and it creates many steals and transition buckets.  So powerful in the lane, owning the boards. And her power dribble on the block- whew! Very difficult for defenders to stop! Tough player, high basketball IQ. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="157681" first="Jordan" last="Weir"] 6'5, Glen Oak H.S.: </strong> At 6'5, her physical presence alone is tremendous. She dominates the inside- any guard, or really anyone attempting to take the ball anywhere near the paint better make other plans, because she will swat it away with ease!  Nice footwork, very comfortable using the glass on shots, and gets great position on the block.  She's fun to watch! <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="212899" first="Gwen" last="Stare"] 5'9, Newark H.S.:  (</strong><em>Below with ball) </em>Stare is such a smart leader! She knows when to dribble penetrate; she's an outstanding passer- her dishes are spot on! And Gwen loves an uptempo game. Smart decision maker, who can get hot from 3 point land as well. She does whatever her team needs, and has a motor that never dies. <img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-360443" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/12/IMG_0983.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" /> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="211795" first="Chloe" last="Peloquin"] 6'2, Newark Catholic H.S.:  </strong>A future Canisius player, this college picked a young lady with all the tools! Younger players of the game who want to see an example of intensity on every possession, need to watch Chloe! Love her defense, how she rebounds, and she can put up points quickly.  She is so fundamentally strong. (<em>Featured Photo, with ball)</em> <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="212890" first="Makiya" last="Miller"] 5'7, Reynoldsburg H.S.:  </strong>Wright State is going to love having her next season!  She's a fierce competitor, who does whatever it takes for her team to win. If the team needs buckets, she can score from outside, or beat her defender to the basket. When her teammates have the hot hand, she finds ways to get the ball in their hands.
