She positions herself well in help side, and anticipates passes well, often deflecting, picking pockets, and turning defensive plays into transition buckets. Nice outside touch behind the arc!
Abbey Garcia Abbey Garcia 5'6" | CG Beavercreek | 2024 OH – 5’6, Beavercreek H.S.: Love her defense! She creates offense opportunities and fast breaks simply because of her defense. Knows when to slow down and set up the offense. Handles the ball well, and can shoot from outside.
Anaya Savage Anaya Savage 6'0" | SF Roger Bacon | 2024 OH – 6’2, Roger Bacon H.S.: Savage has so much potential! With her strength and size, she is someone you want protecting the paint! Attacks the boards, uses the glass well. Keep your eyes on her.
Adia Strauser Adia Strauser 5'10" | SF Kettering | 2024 OH – 5’10, Kettering Alter H.S.: Strauser has quick feet, and can go coast to coast with the basketball. No problem making strong moves to the basket and capitalizing with contact. Makes smart choices on transition. Don’t leave her open- can knock down the shots!
Mallory Stutzman Mallory Stutzman 5'9" | SF Berlin Hiland | 2024 OH – 5’9, Berlin Hiland H.S.: Stutzman is consistent, a reliable guard who can hurt opponents from deep, mid range, or by attacking the basket. Played, strong, valuable minutes last season on Hiland’s state championship team as a freshman, and continues to play well on both ends of the court this season.
Elena Thompson Elena Thompson 5'11" | SG Kettering Alter | 2024 OH – 5’11, Kettering Alter H.S.: Thompson, a multi-sport athlete, not only does damage on the volleyball court, but can play with the rock too! Skilled, handles and attacks in transition, and strong court awareness. Her length is a nice asset to her defense. Takes care of the basketball.
Natalie Yelling Natalie Yelling 5'6" | SG Mount Healthy | 2024 OH – 5’6, Mount Healthy H.S.: Athletic, plays under control, and I really like how she thinks ahead, figuring out before the play actually happens, where her opponent is trying to go, or pass. Quick feet and hands, finds her teammates, and creates easy buckets for herself and team.
Grace Knowlton Grace Knowlton 5'9" | CG Frontier Local | 2024 State OH – 5’10, Frontier Local H.S.: Love her style of play! She is smooth, and can pull up from three point land and hit nothing but nylon! Her long body, combined with quickness, and ability to read passes, makes her a tough player to stop. She’s a scorer!
Peyton Shafer Peyton Shafer 5'9" | CG Goshen | 2024 State OH – 5’9, Goshen H.S.: Shafer is a shooter! Great mechanics, pretty form, and strong muscle memory that allows her to release the ball quickly. She’s money behind the arc, and can hit shots from anywhere. Can easily put up 15-20 points a game.
Lauren Cheatem Lauren Cheatem 6'1" | PF Wellston | 2024 OH – 6’1, Wellston H.S.: Another multi-sport athlete, who not only takes care of business with kills in volleyball, but uses her size in basketball to crash the boards, make the easy bunny shots, and protect the inside defensively.
Ashley Bentley Ashley Bentley 6'2" | C OH – 6’2, Vinton County H.S.: When I watched Ashley take the court during state tournament in the spring, I knew within a few plays that she can play! Love how she’s physical, hungry for rebounds, and takes care of the paint defensively. The sky is the limit for this young lady. Great size!
Jessee Stewart Jessee Stewart 5'7" | SG Miami Trace | 2024 OH – 5’7, Miami Trace H.S.: Stewart can light it up with 3’s! She’s a strong perimeter scorer, runs the floor well, both in half court offense, and transition. Finds the open lanes quickly, and capitalizes.
Nyha Chambers– 5’7, Trotwood Madison H.S.: Chambers can take off to the races quickly, and pulling up for 3’s, comes natural to her. She moves well without the ball, creates great looks for her teammates, and her baseline moves to the bucket are strong.
