Ana Pellecchia Ana Pellecchia 5'9" | SG Clearview | 2024 State NJ – Clearview
There were two people we could’ve picked from Clearview, Pellecchia and Emma Steidle, but we went for the sophomore Pellecchia, who has stormed out of the gates, averaging 19.0 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 3.3 APG and 4.7 SPG for the Pioneers. She looks more poised on the floor and just has a natural playmaking ability about her. Already, Pellecchia is an early contender for Tri-County Player of the Year.
Sara McShea – Paul VI
McShea’s performance so far this season has been overlooked due to the hype surrounding teammate Hannah Hidalgo Hannah Hidalgo 5'7" | PG Paul VI | 2023 State NJ , but she’s easily been one of the best forwards in South Jersey so far. The senior is averaging a career-high 13.5 PPG and 10.8 RPG through the first four games of the season. McShea has never posted a double-double average for an entire season, and what a better time to do it than her senior season.
Nia Scott Nia Scott 6'1" | PF Shawnee | 2023 State NJ – Shawnee
Scott possess both guard and forward traits in her play style and it’s helped her to become both an effective scorer and a strong interior defender. She’s averaging 11.5 PPG, 10.0 RPG and 2.0 BPG through her first four games, recording two blocks in each game so far. Scott has the ability to be one of the premier shot-blockers in the Olympic Conference if she can sustain these numbers.
Kaci Mikulski – Wildwood Catholic
Mikulski is knocking down three-pointers at an incredible rate to begin the season, averaging 3.3 made three-point field goals a game. This shooting specialist has one less made three than the next two-closest shooters on Wildwood Catholic combined and nearly 55 percent of her scoring is from three. Averaging 17.8 PPG so far, the sophomore guard is already a star in the Cape-Atlantic League.
Madison Clark – Haddon Heights
The Garnets have so far rode the success of the junior to a 3-0 record, with Clark leading the team in scoring at 16.7 PPG. That includes a career-high 28 points on opening night. Clark is having a career year and has been the catalyst for the Garnets without a doubt. She’s a dominant scorer, one of the best pure scorers in the Colonial Conference, and has elevated her game to the next level.
