First week of the high school season is complete. These young ladies put up big numbers this week, from high scoring games to triple doubles. These were some of the top individual performances this week.

Kennedy had herself a game today, the quick guard had a triple double with 19pts, 10 assists and 16 steals. She was a menace defensively, active hands and reading the passing lanes for easy steals.
Lauren Mingo-2022-Bishop Ireton
Lauren started off her season with a triple double, scoring 12 points to go with 11 assists and 15 rebounds. Lauren is a tough, physical guard who plays hard all game. She has a strong, college ready frame.

Erin led her team to a win against a tough TPLS team, leading all scorers with 29pts. Two nights later she scored 26 in a close win over another local prep team. Erin is an elite scorer, she gets it done from anywhere on the court.
Jaylin Pressley-2022-Brooke Point
Jaylin had quite an impressive first game. She scored 28pts to go with 5 assists, 8 steals, 4 rebounds and 4 blocks. Jaylin made an impact on both ends of the court, her size and ability to work from the wing created problems for her opponent.

Avery made a statement scoring 41pts with 10 assists and 3 steals. Just as impressive as her scoring was her lock down defense. You can tell she takes pride in her defense, sacrificing her body diving for loose balls. Avery plays with a lot of energy which transfers to teammates.

Jeni exploded for 28 points in her first game of season and second game produced 24pts. Jeni showcased her ability to get a bucket, she scored in a variety of ways from 3, in the paint and transition. She provides leadership, energy and plays hard on both ends. College coaches, she is still available!
Elena Bertrand-2023-Highland
Scored 34 points in season opening win and had a 31 point night in a win over Colgan. Scoring lead guard, tight handles and quick feet allow her to create opportunities for herself and teammates. She has a quick release on her shot, nice stroke from 3.
