Sara Wiedeman – 5-4 PG, Haddon Township
Wiedeman drives to the basket with purpose and is extremely confident with the basketball in her hands. She finishes at the rim with authority and is a strong finisher, welcoming contact in the lane. Wiedeman runs the point well and already possesses a great deal of maturity that allows her to operate the offensive with ease. Now as a junior, we’re really seeing her break out as a playmaker and go-to scorer for Haddon Township.
Alli Sieminski – 5-5 SG, Delsea
Sieminski had shown a great deal of growth and the results have come through on the floor, especially with much more playing time. She looks much more confident with more emphasis put on her game-to-game. Sieminski mixes her shot selection well and is shooting from beyond the arc more often. The more she gets comfortable with her perimeter shooting, the more that will open up the floor not just for her, but for her entire team.
Emma Steidle – 5-6 G, Clearview
Steidle has come leaps and bounds since her freshman year and is more dominant than ever before. Much of that is due to her fantastic three-point shooting ability. Steidle worked hard on her overall shot and has a quick release that is extremely tough to guard. Along with that, her off-ball movement gives her more opportunities to create defender mismatches and knock down clutch shots. Steidle is on her way to stardom in South Jersey.
Kaitlyn King – 5-10 G, Lenape
King is a taller guard who moves well on the floor and picks her spots well offensively to score in bunches. That horizontal mobility plays on the defensive end where her court awareness allows her to pick off passes to start fast break opportunities. In a set offense, King moves well without the ball and has expanded her midrange game along with her existing inside game. We’ve also seen consistent success from beyond the arc, but it’s just dimension of a multi-dimension guard.
Nir Nir Cherry-Montague Nir Nir Cherry-Montague 6'6" | PF Atlantic City | 2023 State NJ – 6-1 F/G, Atlantic City
Cherry-Montague is a dominant forward with long reach that is an elite shot-blocker and a stout defender. She doesn’t just stay in the lane and is able to guard defenders at the point and her agility allows her to trackback easily. Along with that, she’s been increasingly effective on offense, finishing well at the rim. Cherry-Montague uses her size to her advantage and is a natural mismatch for opponents. That’s given her space to perfect a short midrange game with fantastic results.
