Ella Durham, 2023, Williamsburg- This girl is so strong and just physically skilled around the basket! There is no way to put it, she will outwork you and work so hard. Losing is never in her perspective, and her tempo is always so positive. A year left to become better, and I know she will not waste any time doing so! A ballplayer who will not stop putting in the work to make her game more improved!
Hope Hall, 5-5 2023, North Union- With a smooth arch on her shot, she can let it fly from anywhere. Miss or make she always follows her shot to get second chance attempts. Her ability to dive after loose balls is incredible, and she never gives up. Always count on her at the end of a nail-biter, give her the ball and she will take care of the rest!
Cara Meyer, 2022, Fort Loramie- Very physical in the low post, she will crash the boards anytime the ball goes up. Does very well putting pressure on her defenders so they create turnovers. Her one dribble drive to the basket is so quick it is hard to stop. She has a nice shot from the high post, excited to see her ball out the rest of this season!
Ainsley Whitaker, 2023, Blanchester- Quick feet to stop getting beat off the dribble, her defense helps her team win games along with her confidence for herself and her team! I loved seeing her play but most of all enjoyed her cheering her teammates on when she wasn’t in the game. She gets her active hands on a lot of passes to create points on the other end.
Lindsey Arwine, 2022, Williamsburg- You would think she is cherry-picking for how fast she gets up and down the floor, but she is so fast that she gets most of her points on transition plays. Her fast feet can beat you off the dribble and stop you from taking the ball to the rack. I was very impressed with the way she played defense and didn’t settle for less. Very patient player, and far from selfish!
