She can take over a game very quickly, between her lethal shooting, incredible handles, and high basketball IQ. Braden is a true floor leader, confident, and her dribble penetration moves are explosive and very difficult to stop. Her shooting range is deep, from any location. Finds her teammates with precise passing. Big time player! (Featured Photo, shooter)
Mackenzie Royal-Davis – 6’1, 2024, Toledo Christian H.S.: Royal-Davis’ size and strength is such an asset to the team. She cleans the glass, muscles her way in the paint for buckets, and shows control with her spin moves to the basket. You cannot leave her open from outside, because she can hit from mid range and 3 point land! Knows how to get to the charity stripe and capitalize.
Kaylona Butler- 5’6, 2023, Toledo Christian H.S.: Having a guard with super light feet, who can not only take care of business from the defensive end, but collapse the defense with her drives and create open looks for her teammates, makes her very valuable! She loves an uptempo game, has no problem taking the outside shots, and has great court vision.
Carrie Zeedyk- 5’3, Fairview H.S.: Zeedyk is tough to contain in the open floor, and has no fear with taking the rock to the basket. She’s got a shooter’s mentality. And it’s a huge compliment when opponents and coaches yell, “shooter”. She wants the ball in her hands, and distributes at the right time, for high percentage buckets. Defensively she plays tough all game.
Kortney Grinnell- 2025, Fairview H.S.: Grinnell is a strong, reliable 3- point shooter for Fairview! When her feet are set, and hands are ready to catch, that ball is released quickly! Great muscle memory, with the same, consistent follow through. Impressive, especially as a freshman, to play with poise and control. Overall handles the ball well, and doesn’t force shots.
