Cameron (pictured left) scored her 1,000th career point for a program that advanced to the state finals last season. She is a long and athletic wing who can score in a variety of ways. Her month of January has landed her among the leaders in her area in many categories. She is currently averaging 14.6 points per game and has vaulted to the top of her area rebounding leaders at 13 per game. She has also been money from the line, shooting over 78% and is second in her area in attempts, meaning she is creating shot opportunities and finishing them at the line.

She became only the sixth player in school history to accomplish that. She is such a complete player, a size mismatch with a great perimeter game or can put the ball on the floor and score. Very solid next level player with a great future. He teammate [player_tooltip player_id="59745" first="Taylor" last="Farris"], also a junior, is closing on 900 points after a big month also.
