Bridgeport (9-0)
[player_tooltip player_id="279065" first="Ruthie" last="Loomis-Gotl"] - 6’3 C 2023 - Bridgeport - Ruthie is a Division I talent, standing at 6’3. A true inside presence that just broke the school’s all-time career block record with 263 career blocks and counting. She’s been consistently scoring around the 20 point mark all season long, with a scoring average of 20.8 on the season.
[player_tooltip player_id="279066" first="Olivia" last="Loomis-Gotl"] - 5’10 G 2024 - Bridgeport - Olivia has been receiving Division I attention as well. She’s putting in nearly 20 points per game. Has good size from the guard spot and is smooth and controlled with the ball. Good fluidity and movement. A top 5 2024 prospect in the state.
[player_tooltip player_id="372375" first="Brooklyn" last="Mohrman"] - 5’6 G 2024 - Bridgeport - Brooklyn is making a name for herself as well as a much needed third scorer for Bridgeport. She’s scoring an impressive 14.7 ppg, and is a major threat from three. I watched the Chase County game, which was her down game, but she has three 20+ games and has made 22 threes on the season and she’s heating up as of late.
[player_tooltip player_id="372738" first="Mackenzie" last="Liakos"] - 5’5 G 2023 - Bridgeport - Mackenzie also broke a school record recently. She is now the leader in assists with 285 career assists. A lefty guard that takes good care of the ball and limits the team’s turnovers.
Adams Central (8-1)
Adams Central has some impressive depth to its roster. They bring some athletic length off of the bench as well with their starting lineup. Some of these player heights are estimations.
[player_tooltip player_id="94514" first="Libby" last="Trausch"] - 5’8 G 2022 - Adams Central - Libby is an impressive guard that needs to be known and respected for her play, in the state of Nebraska. I haven’t seen any commitment news on her, but she can most definitely be a player at the next level. She has a complete offensive game and is a potent scorer and playmaker. Rebounding and passing are strengths of hers as well.
[player_tooltip player_id="372765" first="Rachel" last="Gooden"] - 6’3 C 2023 - Adams Central - You can’t teach size and Rachel has great size, standing at 6’3 and lengthy arms and frame. The [player_tooltip player_id="279065" first="Ruthie" last="Loomis-Gotl"] vs. [player_tooltip player_id="372765" first="Rachel" last="Gooden"] matchup is going to be an entertaining one. Rachel is a legitimate rim-protector and is tough to score on in the paint.
[player_tooltip player_id="372771" first="Megyn" last="Scott"] - 5’8 G/F 2024 - Adams Central - Megyn, like many on the roster, is a long and versatile prospect with some defensive prowess and playmaking ability. Can turn the offense over with steady pressure.
[player_tooltip player_id="373048" first="Lauryn" last="Scott"] - 5’9 SF 2023 - Adams Central - Lauryn is a starter as a wing/forward. A solid and versatility contributor to Adams Central.
[player_tooltip player_id="373225" first="Kylie" last="Lancaster"] - 5’9 G/W 2023 - Adams Central - The game I watched was the O’Neill game and Kylie showed the ability to shoot the three as another long and versatile wing. A high-end defender that plays with positioning and smart pressure.
[player_tooltip player_id="373236" first="Brianna" last="Stroh"] - 5’11 SF 2022 - Adams Central - Great length and solid athleticism at a wing/forward spot.
