I may be biased, but I think North Carolina has some of the best basketball players in the country. With a strong pool of players, there are still some 2022 athletes available to take their talents to the next level. Colleges should certainly take a look at these forwards.

[player_tooltip player_id="219875" first="Nora" last="Schroeder"] | Charlotte Christian

Schroeder has really stepped up for her team this season. She is a three level scorer able to step outside and drain some three pointers as well as get inside to put up two points. She gets inside for rebounds with ease, and she can move inside handling the ball to get to the rim. Her constant chatter on defense is definitely something coaches like to see helping her teammates know where she is to have their backs.

[player_tooltip player_id="322068" first="Maddie" last="Shannon"] | Charlotte Latin

[player_tooltip player_id="253895" first="Hudson" last="Rixham"] | Charlotte Country Day | SF

Rixham (pictured above) has continued to show that she is a three level scorer this season, and she recently celebrated her 1000th point with the Buccaneers. She sees the floor well finding the openings in the defense to get the pass or make her own lane to get to the basket. She is constantly keeping her head on a swivel on both ends of the court knowing where her teammates may be for the pass, or she is anticipating passes on defense to grab the steal.
