Lexie White Lexie White 5'11" | SG Wausau West | 2023 State WI -5’11 G-Wausau West
The case of Lexie White Lexie White 5'11" | SG Wausau West | 2023 State WI excites me. The junior wing has played varsity basketball since her freshman year. Since her freshman days, she has only gotten better. When you look at White’s numbers this season, you see a player who’s ready to play at the next level. The trend of improving every season tends to continue after high school. The numbers she is putting up match what you find on film. White is an athletic player whose impact goes beyond what she does on offense. Defensively, the Spartan isn’t afraid to put her body on the line to draw a charge. White is also laterally quick enough to stay in front of most guards. I’ll be curious to see what schools end up offering her because I think she’s excellent.
Chloe Vogel Chloe Vogel 5'8" | CG St Mary Catholic | 2023 State WI -5’8 G-St. Mary Catholic
I’ve been a fan of Vogel’s since I first saw her tape. The Zephyr plays at one of the smaller schools in Wisconsin, so you may not hear about her as much as other guards. That said, I think she has a chance to be an excellent college guard. Offensively, Vogel can shoot the ball well, which will help her play at the next level. I think there’s a possibility she’ll be able to create at a high level as well, and that could make her great. She already takes care of the ball and distributes it now. Vogel has a positive assist to turnover ratio, and that part of her game could make her special. Defensively, Vogel is quick and reads the game well. You won’t find many players who read opposing offenses the way the St. Mary Catholic junior does.
Kailey Wozniak Kailey Wozniak 5'9" | CG Pius Xi Catholic | 2023 State WI -5’9 G/F-Pius XI
There may not be a more versatile player than Kailey Wozniak Kailey Wozniak 5'9" | CG Pius Xi Catholic | 2023 State WI . The junior can score 20 or more points when her team needs that, or she can spend all of her energy valiantly defending talented opposing wings. I’ve seen her do both. On Pius’ opening game of the season, I watched Wozniak efficiently score 17 points against a talented Milwaukee Academy of Science team. In a game recently against Pewaukee, I watched her defend S. Newcomer, a high-level D2 kid, and hold her to 6-15 shooting from the field with little to no help. Wozniak is a winning player who will help a program at the next level. If you are a coach looking for a talented two-way wing, Wozniak fits that profile.
Reagan Pahl Reagan Pahl 5'6" | CG Cedarburg | 2023 State WI -5’6 G-Cedarburg
Earlier this season, I was worried about Pahl’s shooting. That was until the Cedarburg native decided that she wasn’t a fan of missing. In a three-game stretch, Pahl made 19 of her 33 3’s. That’s not something that can hold for an entire season, but it shows the high-end talent Pahl has as a shooter. I believe Pahl can be an elite floor spacer at the college level. She has talent as a shooter. Pahl needs to find consistency. If that happens, she could become an excellent college shooter.
