You can definitely tell Adkins spends a lot of time working on her game, because her mechanics, muscle memory, and fundamentals are so solid! She wants the basketball, thrives on making plays and involving her teammates. Beautiful outside shot, and can score against anyone. What a bright future she has in store! <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="269385" first="Blessing" last="King"]- 5’10, 2022, Worthington Christian H.S.: </strong>When I watch Blessing play, my mouth drops, simply because of how hard she works, how she crashes the boards, and her athleticism and ability to out-jump anyone for boards is so impressive. She's a leader, knows how to score, and is so explosive. Love her enthusiasm!
<strong>Avah Steele- 5’8, G, 2025, Pleasant H.S.: </strong>(<em>Below, shooting) </em>There is a huge difference going from 8th grade basketball, and jumping up to varsity as a freshman. Avah makes that transition look easy! Defensively, I love how she is always aware of where the ball is, thrives on anticipating passes, which results in steals and easy lay-ups. <strong>Kyla Columber- 5’6, G, 2022, Pleasant H.S.: </strong>(<em>Below, shooting) </em>Columber is fantastic in dribble penetrating to the basket! Once she finds gaps in the paint, its too late- because she's going to score! Love her quickness, and decision making- she sees the floor so well. It's as though she visualizes the next couple plays in her mind. <strong>Samairah Thompson- 5’8, F, 2024, Africentric Early College: </strong>Thompson plays aggressive- and this style leads to many steals and fast breaks! She has no problem taking the ball coast to coast, and capitalizing on transition. Knows when to slow down and run the offense. Defensively she pounds the glass, and plays tight on ball defense. She's fun to watch!
