The Division 3 sectionals wrapped up last weekend, and I will take a look at some of the seniors who caught my attention with their solid play last weekend.

Ellie Fout, 5-10 2022, Arcanum- Loved her intensity when she was on the floor. Ellie is a strong physical player with the desire to work hard and be successful. She can play through contact and isn’t afraid to mix it up in the paint. She has a solid career playing on a team that was full of talented offensive players. Just went out and did her job.
Gracie Lovely 5-7 2022, Preble Shawnee- Gracie also plays on a team that is loaded with talented scorers, but she was one of the hardest workers on the court. Is able to contribute from the perimeter, a good set shooter. Showed a very good defensive presence on the court, she is aggressive and active with quick hands.
Kayli Brewer, 5-6 2022, Anna- Her role increased due to an injury to a teammate earlier in the season, and she stepped up to the challenge. She played with good poise and control of the game. Liked her range, she was able to score from behind the arc. Gets her shot off quickly, nice handles and is a solid on-ball defender.
Alexei VanSchaik, 5-8 2022, Waynesville- Really showed a lot of good leadership and ability to score in a variety of ways She has a good pull-up midrange shot and she can get to the rim. Secures the ball well and is aggressive on the boards. She can push the ball in transition and play in a uptempo game. Headed to Earlham, was impressed with her overall game.
[player_tooltip player_id="32607" first="Taylor" last="Gray"], 6-1 2022, Arcanum- She is likely going to school for volleyball, Taylor is a very legit basketball prospect. and coming back from an injury she controlled the paint Great footwork and hands, can score at the rim.
