Blue Ridge District
Jeni Levine Jeni Levine 5'6" | CG Staunton HS | 2022 State VA -2022-Staunton River
Jeni led her team to the regular season and tournament championship and an undefeated record to date. Tied game at halftime, her leadership and strong defense, especially in the second half were key to her team’s victory. An aggressive on ball defender, relentless harassment of opponents triggered an offensive burst in the second half to take control of the game. She finished the night with 16pts.
Cardinal District
Amani Melendez Amani Melendez 5'8" | SG Woodbridge HS | 2022 State VA -2022-Woodbridge
This young lady has been playing out of her mind this season. After receiving first team and player of the year honors, she led her team to a district championship in a tightly contested game, final score 42-41. She finished with 24pts for the game, she has a knack for getting her shot off against tight defense and had four 3s on the night. She also contributed 7 rebounds, and had 3 assists and steals.
River Ridge District
Keslyn Secrist-2023-Pulaski County
Great size at 5’10 and can do it all on the court. Player of the Year, led a talented group of young ladies to a regular season and tournament championship. Stat line in championship game was impressive: 18pts, 7rebouds, 4assists, 5steals. Keslyn has a sweet jumper, good court vision and skilled passer. This young lady is one to watch this AAU season.
Allyson Fleenor-2022-Pulaski County
First team all district selection and will finish her career as the all-time leading scorer in school history. An undersized post player with a big heart and passion for the game. Strong body in the post, she protected the paint and was active on the boards. Set strong screens for her guards, defenders had difficult time getting through which created various shot opportunity. Had several full court passes off steals to teammates filling in the lanes.
Potomac District
Sadie Shores Sadie Shores 5'10" | CG Woodgrove HS | 2024 State VA -2024-Woodgrove
Woodgrove has been on a roll this season led by Sadie who earned player of the year honors and contributed 24pts in a championship win. Strong defender, confident and athletic. Sadie is a 3 level scorer, knock down shooter who has mastered the midrange game. She can put the ball on the floor and create for herself or teammates.
Colette Baine Colette Baine 5'7" | CG Woodgrove | 2023 VA -2023-Woodgrove
First team all district selection, contributed 12pts and 4 rebounds in the championship. Colette is an under the radar 2023 prospect who plays unselfishly. She finds ways to contribute on the court without scoring, plays both sides of the ball and has a well rounded skill set.
Commonwealth District
Takeira Ramey Takeira Ramey 5'6" | PG Massaponax | 2024 State VA -2024-Massaponax
Takeira led her team with a triple double to bring home the championship. She scored 16pts to go with 10 rebounds and 10 steals. An elite on ball defender, she has quick feet and applies constant pressure. She willingly gives up her body for loose balls and charges. Gets through screens, active hands creates turnovers and has good court awareness.
National District
Toni McCrae-2023-Edison
Toni’s leadership was key to bringing the National district championship back to Edison. Leader of a young squad that showed toughness down the stretch. Athletic defender, who is quick to the ball, reads passing lanes for steals. She is fast, has good court awareness and pushes the ball in transition. She can fill up the stat sheet, finishing championship game with 18pts.
Sarah Chawki-2025-Edison
Scored 16pts to help lead a young Edison squad to the championship. Provided key plays on the offensive and defensive end of the floor for Edison to maintain control of the game. Athletic, finishes through contact and has range and good form on her 3. She works hard defensively, hustles after loose balls and jumps passing lanes. Emerging prospect in the 2023 class.
Concorde District
Kiera Kohler Kiera Kohler 6'2" | PF James Madison | 2022 State VA -2022-Madison
6’2 post player who can step out and shoot the 3. She is a great compliment to the Arnolie sisters. In the championship game, she contributed a full stat line of 8pts, 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 4 assists. Kiera is a strong defender, shot blocker who protects the paint and agile enough to defend the perimeter and jumps passing lanes resulting in turnovers.
