Difference Makers: Districts As we push through the districts and now off to regionals, we have a few Orlando area kids that really made a difference so far. Here are a few that did that. <strong>Emily Pompura-Shook</strong> 2022 5’5” SG East River In the Semi-final game versus Edgewater, Shook scored 25 points, hitting 7 out of 12 from the three point line. She also was 1 for 2 from the free throw line and dished out 3 assists. She is scoring 6.9 points per game and handing out 2.5 assists per game for the 21/22 season. She has a total of 33 points over the three games, scoring 12. 8 and 13 versus Hagerty, Winter Park, and Oviedo respectively. Over the same stretch she dished out 10 assists. She is key the Grenadier success and look forward to seeing her play throughout the playoffs. <strong><img class="size-medium wp-image-385646 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/02/Patterson-2024-Faith-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" />[player_tooltip player_id="248306" first="Camryn" last="Patterson"]</strong> 2024 5’9’ SF Faith Christian Academy Patterson is the glue that keeps the Lions together. She is tough agile player that plays with ease and poise. In the Class 2A final versus Orlando Christian Prep, she scored 13 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and passed out 5 assists. She is scoring 10.9 points per game and grabbing 9.4 rebounds per game on the season. <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="331752" first="Danika" last="Ballard"]</strong> 2024 5’8” SG Boone In the district semi-final versus Apopka, she scored 9 points and in the first round versus Evans she scored 7 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and had 4 seals. She is averaging 9.3 points per game on the season. A smooth long guard that can drive to the basket and finish with a range of moves. <strong>Rylan Moffitt</strong> 2022 6’0’ SF Wekiva She is super active on defense, getting tons of blocks and deflections. She had 19 rebounds in the two games of Districts, 10 versus Lake Howell and 9 versus East River. On the offensive side of the ball, she is very fundamental, and plays a huge part of the Mustang offense. She scored 14 points versus East River and 10 versus Lake Howell. She is averaging 9.3 points per game and 7 rebounds per game for the season. <strong><img class="size-medium wp-image-385643 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2022/02/Brown-OCP-2023-225x300.jpg" alt="" width="225" height="300" />[player_tooltip player_id="91650" first="Siarah" last="Brown"]</strong> 2023 5’5” SG Orlando Christian Prep Brown, one of two juniors on the young OCP squad. She is the leading scorer, putting in 21 points per game. She is also the leader in assists with 3.2 and in the steal category with 2.9. During the two-game stretch of the district playoffs, she scored 12 points versus Faith Christian Academy and 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds versus Merritt Island Christian.
