Central Florida has a wide range of players that might not get all the write up as some other players. Here are a few players that are off the radar and have tons of upside.
Brianna Miller 2023 5’8” SG Seminole
Miller, a good shooter that takes the right shot at the right time. She consistently gets to the basket, getting the contact resulting in the foul and free throw shots for her. She is scoring 7.8 points per game and leading the team in rebounding, getting 6.6 boards per game.
Eva Johnson 2023 5’7” SF Poinciana
She is a tough matchup for other teams, a long wing player that can get to the basket or pull up for a mid-range jumper. Tough on the boards, she is frequently battling the opponents post for position to get the rebound. Johnson is scoring 7.3 points per game and grabbing 9.0 rebounds per game. I look forward to watching her senior season for the Eagles.
Shayla Sandiford 2023 6’1” PF Oak Ridge
Sandiford is an active player that does not stop. She goes after every rebound, gets on the floor and is the vocal leader of the team. She has a smooth, feathery mid-range jump shot from the high post. She is scoring 4.7 points per game and getting 5 rebounds per game.
Lauren Olgee 2023 5’7” SG Olympia
Olgee, the go to knock down shot maker for the Titans. The lefty is not afraid to take a shot, from anywhere on the court. She sees the floor well and handles the ball under pressure. She can move without the ball to get in open positions to be set for the shot. She is the second leading scorer for Olympia with 8.1 points per game.
Zoe Wilson 2023 5’3” PG Edgewater
She is the starting point guard for Edgewater, she displays her on the court leadership by getting her teammates involved in the game and controlling the flow of the game. Wilson is a very crafty and creative guard that gets to the basket with euro-step moves and inside-out dribbling. Wilson has nice touch off the dribble and spotting up, she is putting in 13.8 points per game. Along with the nice moves she is the leading the team in the rebounding category with 7 rebounds per game.
