Hamilton (featured image) sees her open teammates make great passes and have excellent floor vision. In the SE district, she may be the best on-ball defender. Gets to the rim well and is an above-average three-point shooter who doesn’t take too many shots. Can effectively guard 1-2 players.
[player_tooltip player_id="313111" first="Lexi" last="Rucker"], 5-8 2023, Wheelersburg- Plays for Ohio’s top-ranked squad. An unsung hero who doesn’t get much press. Guards’ the finest player, give her the ball at clutch times and she will take care of the rest. She has an excellent midrange game. Defensive stopper who can easily guard 1-5 players. Consistently scoring and playing on a good and well-balanced squad. The last several weeks have been fantastic. Many people are unaware of what she does for the squad.
[player_tooltip player_id="280112" first="Emma" last="Garrison"], 5-9 2024, Frankfort Adena- Reminds me of a Larry Bird type of styled player. Knows the game as well as any other student in the district. She isn’t particularly athletic, but she gets the job done well. On the court, he’s a fantastic coach.
Maddie Walburn, 5-8 2024, Jackson- Great midrange shooter and floor leader for the team. A very strong and physical player that can do it all. Does everything in her power to win. One thing about her is that she has improved year after year and is only getting better.
Caydence Scale, 5-6 2024, Northwestern- Quick lead guard who is difficult to guard and keep out of the paint. She has excellent ball-handling skills and can score by slipping past her opponent. Don’t even try to press her; she’s a handful with the ball. Caydence scored 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 8 steals in a tough loss to Orrville later in the season, then rebounded with 29 points in a big OT win against Smithville later in the season.
