Here is a final look at a few players who played well as the season came to a close, and the younger ones are ready to have a big travel season.
Megan Campbell, 5-7 2024, Massillon Jackson- The last part of the season, Megan has come up big as a sophomore when the upperclassmen needed her. Megan is an exceptional three-point shooter and has stepped up her game as she prepares to head into a very key spring club season. She scored 16 against Salem, 16 vs Wooster with 6 assists and 16 against Brush. Her stock continues to rise!
Brooke Haren, 5-8 2024, Louisville- Impressive ending to the regular season and into the tournament for the rising sophomore from NE Ohio. Brooke dropped 24 points with six rebounds against Canfield then poured in 29 points with six rebounds in a big win against Northwest. Expect a big spring with the Ohio Extreme.
Courtney Barwick Courtney Barwick 5'9" | SG Louisville | 2025 OH , 5-7 2025, Louisville- This player will light you up from behind the arc consistently as her game is growing daily as a freshman. According to people in the know, her game as really grown a lot this season, and like most freshman, it is about getting better. She has come up big with her perimeter game, now it is time to continue to work.
Ava Ryncarz, 5-9 2022, Aurora- Has stepped into the leadership role and has put up some big numbers, especially late late in the season. She had 17 points against Hudson, 23 points and 10 boards against Kent Roosevelt 18 and 10 against Chardon and 27 points, 11 boards vs Twinsburg. She is smooth with the ball, is an elite shooter with range. She is preparing to take her game to the collegiate level in the fall.
Gretchen Sigman, 5-10 2024, Holland Springfield- Yes she is a young player, but she is mature above her years. She is a player you want on the floor due to her high basketball IQ with good ball skills and stays focused in the big games. Shows good confidence for a player her age. Keep an eye on her this summer.
