With the postseason upon us and all of conference play having concluded in Southeast Missouri, it’s time to reveal the best of the best. Therefore, I have created the Prep Girls Hoops All-Southeast Missouri first, second and third teams. Each team will be composed of five players apiece from the SEMO and Scott-Miss Conference. Here’s the PGH All-Southeast Missouri Third Team:
2025 5’5" PG [player_tooltip player_id="338659" first="Jade" last="Berry"], Delta: Incredibly smooth and crafty whenever the ball is in her hands. True runner of the show as she's able to facilitate effortlessly with her no-look or one-handed dishes. As a scorer, she's an efficient 3-point shooter with nice range. Smooth drive to the rim with a clean finish. Aggressive defender who is always swiping for the ball and intercepting passes. High basketball IQ.
2022 5’6" SG [player_tooltip player_id="317675" first="Amyari" last="Blissett"], Sikeston: One of Southeast Missouri's top shooters as she has considerable range and catches fire from 3-point range often. Most of her shots are either swishes or banks. Nice dribble drive and is able to free herself up on her own. Plays with a high motor to fight for the ball and create turnovers. Also has great court vision in order to pick off passes.
2023 5’5" CG [player_tooltip player_id="392369" first="Anna" last="Garner"], Cape Notre Dame: Moved into the starting lineup after an injury and has burst onto the scene. Big-time contributor on both ends as she's usually putting up double-digit points thanks to her ability as a deep-threat scorer. Serious knack for knocking down 3-pointers. Opportunistic defender who knows when to go for a takeaway. Very smart and composed. Has improved her ball handling and does a nice job finding her teammates.
2023 5’4" SG [player_tooltip player_id="318367" first="Jenna" last="Givens"], Cape Notre Dame: Another top-notch 3-point shooter. She can't miss when she's on and usually catches fire from beyond the arc when left open in either corner. Quick drive down the lane and possesses a smooth floater. Attracts attention inside due to her athleticism, which allows her to find teammates for open shots. Does a nice job pressing ball handlers and gives them little room to work.
2022 6’0" SF [player_tooltip player_id="317694" first="Hope" last="Woodfin"], Oran: If she's not draining 3-pointers, she's attacking the rim with ease. Has serious range from beyond the arc and usually hits multiple threes. Excellent drive to the basket with moves like the crossover and euro step. Uses her length to deflect passes, knock the ball away from handlers and contest shots. Does a great job facilitating as she delivers bullet passes. Also a fine glass cleaner.
