Week 12’s Top Players of The Week!

Jaelyn scored 25 points and made 5 three pointers in Volcano Vista’s 68-29 win. Volcano Vista is now 22-0 this season and 6-0 in district play. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="357673" first="Eva" last="Love"]-</span> 5’10 Shooting Guard "La Cueva" Class of 2024 [player_tooltip player_id="357673" first="Eva" last="Love"] helped La Cueva stay undefeated in district play with her performance vs Sandia on the road this past Friday February 11th. [player_tooltip player_id="357673" first="Eva" last="Love"] scored 18 points to help La Cueva defeat Sandia 60-45. La Cueva is now 18-4 this season and 6-0 in district play. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="353695" first="Lanae" last="Billy"]-</span> 5’8 Small Forward "Piedra Vista" Class of 2022 Despite a close 69-61 loss to La Cueva this past Tuesday February 8th, Lanae scored 30 points on 5/12 shooting from the field and shot a solid 17/18 from the free throw line. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="353909" first="Lelani" last="Love"]-</span> 6’1 Forward "Albuquerque" Class of 2023 [player_tooltip player_id="353909" first="Lelani" last="Love"] helped lead Albuquerque to a 61-26 win vs Capital this past Tuesday February 8th. Lelani recorded a double-double with 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds while shooting 8/17 from the field. Albuquerque is now 16-6 this season and 8-0 in district play. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="353744" first="Denice" last="Ryan"]-</span> 5’2 Point Guard "Highland" Class of 2022 Highland defeated St.Pius this past Friday February 11th 66-29. [player_tooltip player_id="353744" first="Denice" last="Ryan"] led the way scoring 23 points and shooting 11/15 from the field. She also had a nice all around game grabbing 5 rebounds and dishing out 6 assists. Highland is 17-5 this season  and 6-0 in district play. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Alyce Apachito-</span> 5’11 Center "To’Hajiilee" Class of 2023 This past Saturday February 12th, To’Hajiilee defeated Northwest High School 75-24. Alyce scored a team high 18 points to help her school improve to 14-4 this season and 6-0 in district play. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Shaela Carrillo-</span> Forward "Valley" Class of 2022 Despite the loss to Hope Christian 57-47, Shaela Carrillo had a solid performance for the Valley Vikings this past Tuesday February 8th. She scored 24 points on 10/21 shooting from the field , grabbed 9 rebounds and dished 4 assists. <span style="text-decoration: underline;">[player_tooltip player_id="353914" first="Aneesa" last="Chavez"]-</span> Shooting Guard "Moriarty" Class of 2023 Moriarty defeated Espanola Valley 49-33 this past Thursday February 10th. [player_tooltip player_id="353914" first="Aneesa" last="Chavez"] led the way scoring 20 points, she shot 6/14 from the field and shot 6/8 from the free throw line.
