<span style="font-weight: 400;">As the TSSAA district basketball rounds continue , this weekend is a huge step for clubs looking to advance to the state tournament. In the private school sector, participants will be trying to punch their card to the quarter final rounds. Meanwhile, in the public school sector, teams will be looking to advance out of district play and gear up for region finals.</span>
<span style="font-weight: 400;">As you go out this weekend and support these young ladies on the hardwood, here are some notable standouts you need to keep your eye on throughout the rest of the tournament.</span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="245219" first="Sydney" last="Ryan"] (5’10/Sr./SG/ Brentwood)</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">- Long range sharpshooter, she is the catalyst for her club. Look for her to dial it from multiple levels on the floor has her and her Lady Bruins teammates look to make some noise during the tournament,</span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="134646" first="Angelica" last="Velez"] (5’7/Jr./PG/ Webb- Bell Buckle)</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">- 4 star guard by ESPN, Angelica is dynamic with the ball in her hands. Slasher who can get to the rim or dish it to open teammates, this young lady has incredible court vision and the ability to play lockdown defense.</span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="276706" first="McKenzie" last="Cochran"] (5’8/Sr./PG/ Page)</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">- Talented PG who is a dual threat on the offensive side. Can command the offense and get buckets from all over the floor. Quiet striker on D, looking to create turnovers.</span>
<b>Keilyn Morgan (5’11/Sr./PF/ Sale Creek)</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">- Scoring threat inside the painted area. She possesses great instincts and has a knack for grabbing boards on both ends of the floor.</span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="285362" first="Gabby" last="Beaty"] (5’8/Jr./ W/ York Institute)</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">- Hustle player who is always on the go. From scoring to diving on the floor for loose balls, Gabby is an all-around talent that does the little things to help aid in her team’s success.</span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="245232" first="Kennedy" last="Claybrooks"] (5’6/PG/ Bartlett)</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">- Dynamic scoring guard who is a swiss army knife. Great floor presence on both sides of the ball. Unselfish and is willing to lay it all out on the line for her team. Old school junkyard dog who loves the game of basketball.</span>
<b>[player_tooltip player_id="245304" first="Abigail" last="Johnson"] (6’0/ Jr./ C/ Upperman)</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">- Anchor in the middle who has great footwork. Dominates the painted area on both ends of the floor. Controls the boards leading to easy buckets or transition breaks.</span>
<b>Carden Vailes (5’6/ Jr./ CG/ Trinity Christian Academy)</b><span style="font-weight: 400;">- Scrappy guard who can score the basketball. Versatile player who contributes to her clubs success in many ways. From scoring the ball to making timely assists, Carden is a hot commodity and a valuable asset to her team.</span>
