East Poinsett County Classic: Earle High 

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br>East Poinsett County (EPC) High hosted an Invitational Classic over the MLK Holiday Weekend. Arkansas teams were matched up against several Memphis area teams in the event. I hadn't seen Earle High School (AR) since their Play Day event they hosted the first Saturday in November.  I didn't  get a good look at them at that time. They played White Station in the EPC Classic. The games were streamed. So this was a great opportunity for me to get another look at them. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><br>Earle is a team that's going to bring the pressure. It's coming in a full court press. They extend their half court defense beyond the 3 point line. The Missouri signee is a matchup nightmare because she can play on the perimeter and down low. She loves to attack from the perimeter and can shoot the mid range jumper. Journey started the game in the point guard spot. She eventually moved off the ball. She can create to get herself shots. If she is given any room, she is shooting the 3. She knocked down 2 corner threes from both corners early in the game. Madison can also create for herself to get scoring opportunities. She has three point range, a pull up and can get to the basket. Johnson started the game off the ball. Then she moved to the point guard spot. She is a patient player. She had several opportunities when she started to attack. Then she pulled the ball back out to set up the offense. She had a nice lefty post entry pass and assist. She has 3 point shooting range and a pull up shot. I couldn't tell how tall Madison was from watching the stream. I do know that she has some athleticism. She blocked a shot as if it was a volleyball block with 2 hands in the game.
