Below are PGH Wisconsin’s Division 1 All-State Teams. The format is three guards and two forwards on every team, along with our Player of the Year. Below the All-State Teams are an All-Defensive Team and Honorable Mentions.
1st Team All-State

Forwards
[player_tooltip player_id="156050" first="Grace" last="Grocholski"]-5’10 F-’23-Kettle Moraine The future Arizona State Sun Devil capped off her junior season with a 34 point and nine-rebound performance in the Division 1 state title game. The Lazer dominated all season in the Classic 8 Conference and has already accomplished almost everything at this level. Grocholski averaged 21.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. (POY) [player_tooltip player_id="155421" first="Emily" last="La Chapell"]-6’0 G/F-’22-Appleton East The senior from Appleton East is PGH Wisconsin’s Player of the year in Divison 1. LaChapell is a do-it-all wing who can score from anywhere in any fashion and defend all five positions at the high school level. The future Marquette Golden Eagle averaged 20.5 points, 7.1 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game.
Guards
[player_tooltip player_id="189502" first="Allie" last="Ziebell"]-6’0 G-’24-Neenah All Ziebell did as a sophomore was lead the state in scoring, break Neenah’s all-time scoring record, and help the Rockets upset No. 1 Hortonville in the postseason. There isn’t anything quite like watching Ziebell operate against elite defenses and still finding a way to make scoring 30 look normal. Ziebell averaged 30.2 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 3.6 steals per game. [player_tooltip player_id="132372" first="Kamy" last="Peppler"]-5’7 G-’22-Hortonville The elder Peppler sister was named Ms. Basketball this season by the WBCA. The Polar Bear is everything you’d want in a point guard. The future UWM Panther can score over 30 if she needs to, or she can facilitate for her teammates at an elite level. Peppler averaged 13.8 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 3.3 steals. Kamorea "KK" Arnold-5’10 PG-’23-Germantown The future Connecticut Huskie is one of the best high school players in the country. Arnold makes getting past an initial defender look as easy as breathing. Arnold averaged 24.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 7.2 assists, and 4.4 steals per game.
2nd Team All-State

Forwards
[player_tooltip player_id="262970" first="Alaina" last="Harper"]-6’3 F-’22-Arrowhead The future Grand Canyon forward was the crucial piece in Arrowhead’s defense. The Warhawks zone funneled everything toward Harper in the paint, and she was excellent at defending in the painted area. I don’t have all of Harper’s averages, but she averaged 14.4 points per game. [player_tooltip player_id="132373" first="Jordan" last="Meulemans"]-6’0 G/F-’22-De Pere The future Butler Bulldog is one of the best scorers in Wisconsin. The senior will always be able to put up 30 in a game, whether it’s in the Big East or a random pick-up game. Meulemans averaged 25.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists.
Guards
[player_tooltip player_id="156077" first="Annika" last="Pluemer"]-5’8 G-’23-Brookfield East Pluemer is one of my personal favorite two-way guards around. The junior can defend at a high level and was the Spartans’ best scoring option all year. I would not be surprised to see Division 1 colleges heavily interested in her over the next 12 months. Pluemer averaged 17.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. [player_tooltip player_id="204131" first="Lily" last="Randgaard"]-5’10 G-’22-Kettle Moraine The future Western Illinois Leatherneck was born to score. Randgaard hit big shots all year for the Division 1 State Champions. The senior has no fear and will continue fighting at the next level for early playing time at Western Illinois. Randgaard averaged 13.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. [player_tooltip player_id="374227" first="Rainey" last="Welson"]-5’9 G-’25-Hortonville What Welson was able to do as a freshman this season was unbelievable. The Polar Bear led the team in scoring and was as efficient as anyone in the state doing so. A freshman contributing to winning on a heavily junior and senior latent team is wild. Welson averaged 15.8 points, 2.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 2.6 steals per game.
3rd Team All-State

Forwards
[player_tooltip player_id="338945" first="Makena" last="Christian"]-5’11 F-’25-Hartford Hartford lost a few crucial pieces last season, and Christian excelled in the void that was left. The freshman averaged 19.9 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 2.5 steals, and 1.1 blocks per game. [player_tooltip player_id="156067" first="Neveah" last="Thomas"]-6’0 F-’23-Kenosha Bradford The Bradford forward was involved in everything for her team this season. Thomas averaged 20.2 points. 12.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 3.0 steals, and 3.0 blocks per game.
Guards
[player_tooltip player_id="156076" first="Braelyn" last="Torres"]-5’8 G-’23-Kettle Moraine The Lazer point guard is one of the best perimeter defenders in the state. Torres showed improvement in her offensive game this season and displayed all of her abilities in Green Bay. Torres averaged 14.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 3.4 steals per game. [player_tooltip player_id="132377" first="Demetria" last="Prewitt"]-5’11 G/F-’22-Madison La Follette The Lancer senior broke the school record for points in a season this year. Prewitt had an incredible game-winning putback on the road against Janesville Craig. If it weren’t for an odd season overall for La Follette, they likely would have made a deep postseason run. Prewitt averaged 18.8 points, 8.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.4 steals, and 2.0 blocks per game. [player_tooltip player_id="156073" first="Sammi" last="Beyer"]-5’7 G-’23-Appleton East The Patriots’ point guard is one of the best shooters in Wisconsin. She continued to shoot well above 40% from behind the 3-point line and orchestrated a highly effective Appleton East offense this year. Beyer averaged 11.7 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.8 steals per game.
All-Defensive Team
[player_tooltip player_id="262970" first="Alaina" last="Harper"] [player_tooltip player_id="156067" first="Neveah" last="Thomas"] [player_tooltip player_id="206727" first="Trinity" last="Mocadlo"] [player_tooltip player_id="266987" first="Shae" last="Kelley"] [player_tooltip player_id="156076" first="Braelyn" last="Torres"]
Honorable Mention
[player_tooltip player_id="266984" first="Alexa" last="Kinas"]-’24-Kaukauna [player_tooltip player_id="132391" first="Ashley" last="Sawicki"]-’22-Waunakee [player_tooltip player_id="157531" first="Avree" last="Antony"]-’23-Sun Prairie [player_tooltip player_id="206579" first="Bella" last="Samz"]-’23-Arrowhead [player_tooltip player_id="209605" first="Claire" last="Bjorge"]-’24-De Pere [player_tooltip player_id="206576" first="Ellie" last="Magestro-Kennedy"]-’23-Janesville Craig [player_tooltip player_id="204134" first="Emilie" last="Wizner"]-’22-Germantown [player_tooltip player_id="156088" first="Emma" last="Raye"]-’23-Superior [player_tooltip player_id="375236" first="Imani" last="Warren"]-’23-Milwaukee King [player_tooltip player_id="264954" first="Lexie" last="White"]-’23-Wausau West [player_tooltip player_id="132371" first="Lily" last="Hansford"]-’22-Appleton East [player_tooltip player_id="204159" first="Lyric" last="Johnson"]-’22-Hortonville [player_tooltip player_id="338942" first="Madison" last="Fitzgibbon"]-’25-Homestead [player_tooltip player_id="206574" first="Makenzie" last="Drout"]-’23-Kimberly [player_tooltip player_id="132386" first="Megan" last="Clary"]-’22-Wisconsin Rapids [player_tooltip player_id="266987" first="Shae" last="Kelley"]-’24-Brookfield East [player_tooltip player_id="207069" first="Ally" last="Timm"]-’24-Divine Savior Holy Angels [player_tooltip player_id="156100" first="Emma" last="Jossie"]-’23-Stevens Point
