Forwards

(POY) [player_tooltip player_id="206731" first="Lily" last="Truchon"]-5’11 F-’23-South Shore
PGH Wisconsin’s Division 5 Player of the Year is South Shore’s, [player_tooltip player_id="206731" first="Lily" last="Truchon"]. The playmaking forward had an outstanding season scoring 24.2 points per game (7th in Wisconsin), grabbed 11.2 rebounds per game, dished out three assists per game, earned 4/5 steals per night, and blocked 2.1 shots per contest. If you got a chance to see any game that South Shore played this season, you had to notice the 5-foot-11 playmaking forward.
[player_tooltip player_id="264942" first="Jorey" last="Buwalda"]-6’0 F-’23-Randolph
The Rocket was a crucial contributor to this season’s Division 5 champion. Buwalda had an outstanding season where she scored 19.3 points per game and grabbed 9.3 rebounds per night. The junior was a threat whenever she got the ball. Her passing created issues for defenses all season, and her strength helped her dominate in the paint.

Guards

[player_tooltip player_id="374230" first="Addy" last="Verhagen"]-5’4 PG-’25-Sheboygan Lutheran
The freshman came into high school and immediately became one of the best guards in the state. Verhagen scored 17.4 points per game and finished the season No. 7 in the state with her 6.4 assists per game average. The scary part about Verhagen is that she’s only going to get better.
[player_tooltip player_id="156079" first="Lindsay" last="Steien"]-5’9 G-’23-Blair-Taylor
The Blair-Taylor junior finished as the No. 3 scorer in the state with 28.2 points per game. Steien was everywhere for the Wildcats this season, grabbing 6.7 rebounds and dishing out five assists per game. Watch her senior season and expect Blair-Taylor to make a run for a state title next season.
Lauryn Deetz-5’4 G-’22-McDonell Central
The Mack had her senior season cut short due to injury in the state semifinal due to injury. That said, her season was excellent. Deetz scored 16.9 points in her final season and pulled down seven rebounds this year. She earned co-conference player of the season this year in the Cloverbelt-West.

2nd Team All-State

Forwards

[player_tooltip player_id="347159" first="Brooke" last="Lechleitner"]-6’0 F-’22-Lake Holcombe
The future Central Connecticut player led her team in every major statistical category. The senior scored 17.6 points, grabbed 13.5 rebounds, dished out 4.5 assists, earned 5.3 steals, and blocked 4.1 shots per game.
[player_tooltip player_id="396806" first="Brianna" last="Dahl"]-5’9 G/F-’22-Albany

Presley Buwalda-5’8 G-’22-Randolph
The Rockets starting point guard helped lead her team to an undefeated (31-0) season and a state title. Buwalda led her team in assists this season and earned 2.3 steals per game.
[player_tooltip player_id="209585" first="Emily" last="Cooper"]-5’8 G-’24-McDonell Central
Cooper was a defensive ace for the Macks this season. She earned 4.3 steals per game. The sophomore was the teams’ second-leading scorer and led the team with 4.6 assists per contest.
[player_tooltip player_id="156075" first="Laney" last="Havlovitz"]-5’3 G-’23-Wild Rose
A mistake saying Havolovitz shot 180 shots in a game makes her shooting numbers look bad. However, if you fix it, she was a 50% shooter as an undersized guard. The junior averaged 23.4 points, grabbed 7.5 rebounds, dished out 5.0 assists, and earned an incredible 7.0 steals per game (No. 2 in Wisconsin.)

3rd Team All-State

Emme Golembiewski-6’0 F-’22-Northwood
The other half of Northwood’s frontcourt ends her career sharing the same frontcourt as they have the last three years. Golembiewski averaged 13.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 3.2 steals, and 1.9 blocks.

Guards
