The Class of 2023 rankings have been updated and here is a look at some of the players who saw their ranking improve since the last update.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="360661" first="Cecelia" last="Hilgefort"], 6-0 2023, Cincinnati Turpin</strong>
Moves up a spot in the latest ranking after a very solid season in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference. She is a very strong force in the paint, nearly impossible to do anything in the paint against her. Very good post game, second leading scorer and leading rebounder in the conference. Defensively a big stopper. Also leader the league in steals, athletic and a solid all-around prospect.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="157709" first="Paige" last="Kohler"], 5-8 2023, Olmstead Falls</strong>
Was just named first-team all-Ohio, Paige can light you up from out beyond the arc as she establishes a very good perimeter game. Very knowledgeable player and quick with her hands, causes turnovers and can capitalize for her team. Very good ball skills, can switch hands and shake loose her defender to score. Smart basketball IQ and her game should continue to improve.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="157710" first="Torre" last="Kildow"], 5-11 2023, Belmont Union</strong>
A considerable jump in the latest rankings, she moves up to #32. The 6’1 guard who was named first-team all-state. Impressive complete game, able to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim, score with either hand and can handle the ball. Good shooting touch and a solid defender able to defend multiple positions. <em>(feature photo above)</em>
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="360800" first="Lily" last="Bottomley"], 6-2 2023, Northwest</strong>
She was one of the most improved kids in the entire state, Lily really saw her stock rise especially here with PGH Ohio as she went from #55 to #39 in the latest rankings. Very solid in the paint with good footwork and soft hands, able to score over her defender. Good positioning on the boards, able to rebound well and stay strong with the ball. Moves well.
<strong>[player_tooltip player_id="270514" first="Mary" last="Meng"], 6-4 2023, Midview</strong>
She joined the 1,000-point club and earned a first-team all-district honor this season. Mary is a very strong force and can take control of the paint. Good hands and able to score both inside or out. Her game continues to improve. Long and athletic, Mary looks to be a big this force with MAC Basketball this spring. She moves up six spots in the latest ranking.
